Highlights
  • Piazza di Santa Maria Novella - Your Florentine adventure starts at the stunning Santa Maria Novella square, where you can also admire the namesake Basilica, a Renaissance masterpiece. Here, you’ll meet your guide who will introduce you to the history and notable figures of Florence.
  • Piazza del Duomo - A leisurely walk through the city’s alleys will bring us to the Duomo, dedicated to St. Mary of the Flowers. You’ll marvel at the grand Cathedral, a symbol of the city, and learn about Brunelleschi’s genius in constructing the massive dome!
  • Piazza della Signoria - Our route will take you to Signoria Square, home to numerous sculptures and artworks by renowned Renaissance artists like Donatello, Cellini, Giambologna, and Michelangelo (you can see a replica of the iconic David here). Just around the corner, we’ll have our first tasting at a Florentine bakery, where you’ll savor delicious pastries and Tuscan sweets. We’ll continue our walk towards the Arno river, enjoying views of the Uffizi Gallery and catching a glimpse of the Ponte Vecchio.
  • Piazza Santa Croce - Next, we’ll explore the medieval district and the Santa Croce church, the final resting place of several illustrious historical figures of Florence. This site hosts an ancient historical tournament annually, set against a backdrop of elegant residences once owned by merchants who made the town powerful in past centuries.
  • Mercato di Sant’Ambrogio - Finally, we’ll head to the east side of the city, where you can soak in the lively atmosphere of the Sant’Ambrogio food market and discover Florentine specialties. No tour of Florence is complete without tasting the local treats. Here, we’ll relax and enjoy a glass of wine and a variety of Tuscan products while chatting with local vendors. Cheers!

You must take this tour! Incredible! - We loved this tour so much!! We came to Florence with a group of 17 girls... Because of the big size of the group we were looking for an experience where we could both learn, enjoy and taste some local wines in the city for a couple of hours! The places they took us were just incredible! We could have never found the local taverns without this tour.. Never! Chiara and Marta were incredible tour guides, so passionate, knowledgable and engaging that we learnt so much! It was definitely the best choice of our stay! Highly recommended Thank you so much! Best local history sites and food tour of Firenze - We were with a group of friends from the Netherlands visiting Firenze. We wanted to get to know the historical part of the city and the good food of Firenze as well. The tour guide, Luca, was very kind, told us all about the churches, palazzo's, musea etc. He could answer all our questions and was funny as well. He has a good vibe, and made sure we understood everything. The food was really good as well, local and cozy. Recommend it a lot!!
