An incredible experience - We saw Telde day and night. The tour was very well chosen, selecting places with incredible views. The sunset was especially beautiful, over a sea of clouds. It was also a unique experience to be able to see the stars in a private space, without light pollution, with a guide (Fernando) who was a great professional and a specialist in this matter. With the telescopes we were able to see thousands of details: nebulae, the moons of Jupiter, very young and bright stars... Finally, all the details were very careful and the dinner was delicious.

Amazing sky gazing tour - A truly great trip. Starting with drive up to the Teide national park with a break fo coffee. The tour stops at several viewpoints and gives you the opportunity to explore the area. On then to a magnificent view of the sunset accompanied by a glass of fizz. Back to the resterant for a canarian meal with wine. Now it's dark the stargazing starts at the back of the restaurant (so loo at hand). There are telescopes set up and our guide Fernando talked us through the night sky with a passion that brought the stars to life. Some amazing views from the telescopes topped it off. Thank you Fernando we will be back.

Jupiter and the Andromeda Galaxy - The best thing about the whole holiday! Super nice and competent guide Fernando and a great experience, the volcanic landscape, sunset at the lookout point, delicious food, very Spanish restaurant and the great view through the telescopes.

Cold but a very good trip. - Out standing. Fernando knew his way around the heavens. Wrap up warm, it's cold up there. Good Telescopes after a rather large supper, washed down with a glass of wine.

Highly Satisfied - Dinner was very good, we also learned a lot about astronomy, seeing planets and constellations through a telescope . We also went to many points on mount Teide with lots of amazing views. I would highly recommend Tenerife sky at night for anyone visiting the area.

Wow, just wow. - There were 5 of us on this trip, 2 adults, 3 teenagers. It was quite a lot of money and I was apprehensive however, it was without a doubt the highlight of the holiday. Booking it was very easy, Gill was incredibly informative and having been on the trip was even able to show us her pictures. The trip up on the bus was comfortable, plenty stops on the way and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable and well informed. We stopped on the way up for photos and then went to watch the sunset with a glass of fizz. Meal was very nice, it isn't Michelin star but then you don't expect that. What it was though was reflective of local cuisine, it was cooked well, flavoursome and filling. We then sat out under the stars and listened to one of the most informed talks I have ever has. It was humorous and engaging, I had 12, 15 and 16yr old kids with me and they were engaged throughout. All the lights were out and it made such a difference, other groups go to the roadside and have cars passing, not us we had seats and uninterrupted stunning views of more stars than I have ever seen. It was then rounded off with looking through the telescopes and seeing Saturn and it's rings, and some other stars. It is I think really good value and from start to finish it was incredibly enjoyable. Would absolutely recommend and also would definitely go again.

Amazing - Absolutely amazing. Fernando is a lovely, funny and knowledgeable guide. The sunset views and stargazing were impressive. I traveled alone and it was very safe and engaging. The restaurant is modest but food was good and we were informed of the menu before we arrived at the restaurant. Dress up well, very well, because it will be cold at that altitude and after sunset.

A must do - Great value for money and a great experience. Fernando was a great guide and had so much knowledge. My only criticism is the food wasn’t for everyone and make sure you wrap up warm. It’s colder than you think and did make the experience less enjoyable than if I’d been warmer

Excellent Excursion. Could be 5* with minor tweaks. - Tenerife Sky At Night Excursion. Was very good. Our first stop was Vilaflor. I was disappointed to see that we were taken to a restaurant and souvenir shop on the outskirts of the village. I'd have preferred to be able to wander around the square. So I'd either scrap that stop or go somewhere more interesting. We moved onwards to Teide with stops at some viewing points. The guide, Fernando, was great. He was full of information regarding the wildlife, vegetation, and volcanic activity and offered to take photos for people. We were then taken to a quiet spot for cava and sunset. It was so peaceful and beautiful with no other tours nearby. Next on the itinerary was dinner at a Restaurant called 7 Cañadas. Again, we were the only group there. We had a tasty 3 course meal consisting of soup and a bread roll, chicken with sauce and Canarian potatoes followed by cake for dessert. The food was tasty but luke warm (I like my food hot). There was red wine and water on the table. We were told to ask for white wine and soft drinks if we wanted them. That was a challenge as the waiting was rushed off his feet serving food and clearing tables. The white wine wasn't to my taste. The highlight for me was the stargazing. Fernando was so knowledgeable, informative and patient. He even took a photo of the moon through one of the telescopes while we were looking at it through the other one. We learned about the North Star, Orion's Belt and other constellations and we saw the moon, Jupiter, Saturn, a Nebula, some stars. Fascinating. It was sooooo cold but it's December. I wore lots of layers and was still cold. The stargazing was done on a courtyard to the back of the restaurant. It was away from traffic and provided shelter from the cold wind. I'd highly recommend this trip and would advise people to make sure they're prepared for the cold no matter how hot they are in resort.
