A Magical Morning in Sintra

Our day began bright and early at 7:15 AM, a time that might seem daunting to some, but for a family of early risers like ours, it was the perfect start to a day of adventure. The promise of skipping the long lines at the Pena Palace was enough to get my three kids out of bed with minimal fuss. As we made our way to the palace, Rodrigo, our guide, surprised us with Portugal’s famous egg tart pastries.
