A Journey Through Time: Discovering Sintra’s Enchantment

Our family adventure to Sintra began with a sense of excitement and curiosity. As a mother of three, I always seek out experiences that are both educational and enjoyable for my children. While I couldn’t explore the Quinta da Regaleira due to its steep stairs, my sister and the rest of the group were mesmerized by its mysterious allure. The manor house and chapel are accessible, and I would recommend arranging transport if mobility is a concern. The extensive grounds and underground tunnels offer endless exploration opportunities, making it a must-visit for families with adventurous spirits.

Our day concluded with a scenic drive along the coast, stopping at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe. The dramatic cliffs and ocean views were a fitting end to our magical day in Sintra. This trip was a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, and I highly recommend it to families seeking a memorable adventure.
