Awesome tour - This is a great option if you want to see a lot of sights. The tour takes you to the top of the Timanfaya volcano where you can see really cool demonstrations of how hot the volcano is. In a tour bus, you get to skip the huge queue of unmoving cars waiting to get a parking spot and go straight in, and you also get to travel the roads around the national park to see the volcanoes up close, which members of the general public in cars can't do. For these reasons, it's well worth booking a tour for this attraction rather than going on your own. There isn't a whole lot to do at the volcano other than visit the gift shop and get a meal, so i didn't feel like we missed out by only having around 20 minutes to explore, but if you want to eat at the restaurant, you won't be able to do that with this tour. Before you get to the top of the volcano, you also stop off for an optional camel ride which we really enjoyed. We also got to visit a winery on the way back and sample and buy Lanzarote wine. Across the whole journey, we had an amazing tour guide giving us fascinating information. We felt that the half day tour was more than enough time to learn about the volanic landscape and take in the views.

Timanfaya April 2024 - Great tour. Paul, the guide, was friendly, informative and really chilled out. He knew a load about the island and kept everyone engaged throughout. The volcanic landscape is out of this world, like nowhere else you could go. Camels were great fun too. The tour filled our morning perfectly and I'd highly recommend it. The air con on the coach was a welcome relief when travelling with a 7 year old, take some snacks or a packed lunch is my tip. Really good.

Go to Lanzarote just for this! - An amazing trip with a great tour guide. It is one of the most unique and beautiful national parks I have ever seen. A must see and I recommend you do it with this company.

Great tour of an amazing park and island! - Great trip when time is short! Michael did a wonder job narrating the trip with tons of facts and history along the way. Our driver deserves a medal for his skills navigating the narrow twisting roads throughout the park and the island!!!!

Value for money - Value for money, had a great tour on 23 February, 2024, thanks to guide Michael and the driver. Pick-up exactly at provided time, few stops at other hotels, then moved on to Timanfaya Parc while listening to the guide explaining about the history of Lanzarote etc. The bus drive through the area was really impressive (so were the driving skills!!). Final stop was at camel ride. The camels were fantastic memory maker especially for us. Highly recommend this tour.

Great tour for any tourist. - Excellent tour guide and driver. Very informative and kept us entertained. The tour was amazing. Camel rides are a myst. The mountsins of fire had the most fantastic scenery. Definitely recommend this trip.

Brilliant volcanic trip - We went on a tui trip which was excellent. The guide was superb and the coach trip through the lava field was great. It is the only way to experience the national park properly. For fun I have included a picture of the coach seat back. You would think TUI marketing could spell!

Wrong indication of pick-up point - Very nice excursion which was a little spoiled by a wrong meeting point at the start even though we were on time and we had to run to find the bus at another stop

Do not book this tour with Viator!!!! - When booking, Viator confirmed that I would be picked up at my hotel for the tour. When I confirmed this with the tour company they stated that they were not allowed to pick up at my hotel so we should walk to the nearest pick up point It wasn’t terribly far but it was an early start and I was annoyed because we had been promised our own pick up. We were collected- late, and then did the rounds of a few other hotels picking people up and the next thing we knew- we were back (40mins later) at our own hotel collecting people. The communication between Viator and first time transfers was shocking. Both companies blamed the other for the mix up but essentially neither cared. The girl on the phone from first time transfers was very dismissive and borderline rude. While we did enjoy the tour on the day, I would not even consider booking it with Viator again.
