Highlights
- Caldera de Bandama - Amazing views from top of Mountain dated around 11.000years old. Around it you will see famous golf course first built in Spain as well as some wineries.
- Mercado Agricola Vega de San Mateo - Only on Saturdays will be opened and our guide will invite us to Taste some fruits or local cheese. Break for a Coffee.
- Pico de las Nieves - The highest peak in Gran Canaria around 1960meters sea Level. Stunning views from there to the first formation of Gran Canaria and its imponent Canyons.
- Cruz de Tejeda - Lunch stop and enjoy stunning views from the High peaks
- Teror - Famous for its basilique Lady of Pine and its wooden balconies and little streets.

As native Canary Islands tour guides, we offer pick-up and drop-off services in the capital city of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. This exclusive tour includes trips to Gran Canaria’s renowned high peaks and delightful towns such as Teror, San Mateo and the natural marvel of the Bandama crater. Our Canarian guide will lead small groups to take in the sweeping views from our highest volcanic mounts such as Roque Nublo and Bentayga. Weather permitting, we’ll capture images of the famed ‘sea of clouds’. The local farm market comes alive only on Saturdays, offering local wines, cheeses, and a variety of fruits. We’ll also halt at the grand Caldera Bandama - a splendid crater dating back over 4.000 years. At Teror, home to the Lady of Pine Basilique, there will be spare time for relaxing or lunching (not part of the deal but our guide can offer some budget-friendly suggestions).
- Operates in all weather conditions, please bring your jacket or raincoat.
- Pick up in Las Palmas capital between 09.15 and 09.45 please check your nearest meeting point
- For those staying outside the city, easy meeting point will be at the main door MERCADO VEGUETA (placed closed to San Telmo bus station)
- Remember this is a NO HIKING TOUR, Roque Nublo will be seen close from the lookout. (mirador)

Great Island Tour - I was welcomed very friendly and enjoyed the tour in a modern guagua (Kleinbus). You see not only the peak of the mountain but also the most beautiful villages around it. The tour guide Jose did a great job and the bus driver was driving smoothly.

Incredible day out to the mountains - Most amazing day out exploring the the mountains that we could have wished for. We are the kind of people who like exploring places on our own but having a tour guide on this trip was the way to go.
Our tour guide Fran ensured this trip would be enjoyable for everyone and maintained entertainment throughout the bus journeys with his extensive knowledge and passion for the island. By the end we felt that we truly had explored the entire central island, and saw an incredible variety of locations in which the pictures do not quite do justice for how beautiful they are.
Between each location the drive was split up well so that no intervals ever felt too long. Our driver, Barbara, was very professional while driving on the twisted roads.
We had high expectations for this day out to the mountains, a central reason for us choosing this island, and these expectations were definitely surpassed.

Does what it says on the tin! - Excellent Day. We liked that it was a small group of around 20. Excellent level of English speaking by Franco & very good driving by Barbara. Informative and as per description. Would definitely book another tour with this group - compared with other trips, great value for money too.

Good tour with selene - Driver Barbara and guide Selene were an excellent combination. A lot many points were covered at good pace. Selene was a fountain of knowledge. She took good care of us and answered all our questions. This trip is value for money.

Volcano craters and interesting plants, and cute little towns. - Driver is skilled and drives safely, I'd be dead 5 times over trying to navigate these twisting steep mountain roads, and the host is very pleasant knowledgeable and helpful, a nice calm trip around the mountains, with stunning views and great photo opportunities

A good way to cover many sights in one day - A nice tour to see lots of things in one day, pity that a walk up to Roque Nublo is not included.
Overall, it would be good to have a detailed description of the tour, stops and free time - was not fully clear while booking. Teror is worth staying a bit longer. There was no Q&A with the guide and not too much interaction.

Lot to see on this trip - The scenery travelling around the mountains was nice
Pardilla tours using a smaller bus for this trip around 25 people.
Unfortunately the guide talked too much Spanish as the majority of the people were Spanish
I thought this was an exclusive tour just for English speaking people.
So most of the time just wondered around on my own as it took too much time to wait for the talk when we had short stops
