PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers or those with higher qualifications, aged 12 and above, are eligible to join the Night Diver specialty course.

What will you learn?

Night scuba diving enhances your ability to concentrate on what is illuminated by your light, manage your buoyancy through touch, stay close to your diving partner, and notice details that might be missed during daylight. Throughout three night dives, you will practice:

• Techniques for handling and communicating with light.
• Methods for entering, exiting, and navigating in the dark.
• Recognizing how plants and animals behave differently or change at night.

Immersion into the underwater world at nighttime appears enigmatic but is quite appealing. While you might be familiar with a scuba dive spot from repeated visits, it transforms completely at night when illuminated by your dive light. The usual daytime aquatic life gives way to night-dwelling creatures. If you’re curious about the life beneath the water surface post-sunset, enroll in the PADI Night Diver Specialty course.

• Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult
• Minimum age is 12 years
• All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some preexisting medical conditions (asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
• Please bring a swimsuit and towel
