Four of us from western rural NSW Australia - An amazing experience that exceeded all our expectations. Admittedly we were blessed with a beautiful clear day that perfectly showcased the magnificent and diverse scenery. The terrain was rugged but handled perfectly by our host in her trusty 4WD. Christina seemed to relish her role and was a wealth of knowledge while also engaging in exchange of information and friendly banter with our group. Would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone seeking this type of experience.

An excursion in a comfortable 4x4 with Cristina who takes us to magical places. - We had the privilege of having Cristina as our French-speaking guide. Very attached to nature and the magnificent landscapes of the Lake Tekapo region. The big plus is that Cristina has access to a farm, a private property of 50,000 hectares with cows and Merino sheep. The 3-hour route through this property alternates between views of meadows, mountains and rivers. Our numerous discussions with Cristina allowed us to understand life in New Zealand a little better. We were able to take many photos and films. A short stop at the foot of a stream and a lodge gave us the impression of being alone in the world. We will keep excellent memories of this experience with Cristina.

A Don’t Miss Adventure - One of the highlights of our New Zealand trip. Ben is incredibly knowledgeable and we loved every minute of our adventure. My husband said Ben’s flat white at the cabin was one of the best he’s had in NZ. We recommend that you book with Tekapo Adventure. It felt like our friend was giving us a tour of the place he loved and now we do too!

The Splendour of a New Zealand High Country Station. - The Cass Valley 4WD tour to Waterfall Hut, through part of the 19200ha Glenmore Station was superb! Difficult to put into words how magnificent & unique the experience was. A Landscape photographers’s heaven! The Driver / Guide Paul was friendly & knowledgeable. Tour was scheduled for 3 hours but expanded to nearly 4 hours! Although the weather on the day was dull with weak sun, it did not detract from the experience. If anything the soft light added another dimension and made for good photography. Well worth a detour/visit to Lake Tekapo to go on the Tour. Given our experience would totally recommend.
