Algarve wines! - Learned quite a bit about Algarve region wines, and this winery specifically. The experience was cozy, relaxed and comfortable, and our guide was warm and engaging. Highly recommend this tour!

Lovely evening at vineyard - We had a lovely meal under the old olive tree tasted some great wines then walked through the vines with our host who supplied us with interesting history of vineyard. Would have been nice to have seen where the wine was stored etc. but really enjoyed the evening & would go back again ❤️

Lovely wine tasting at Morgado do Quintão vineyard - We went for a very nice wine tasting at Morgardo do Quintão in July 2023. The atmosphere was great (the wines were served under a beautiful old olive tree near the main house along with some tasty tapas), and we got a really nice introduction to the wines, the history and ambition of the vineyard and the region. The wines were very light and pleasant, suitable for the many delicious fish dishes served in the region. Our host was very knowledgeable and super authentic, clearly having a passion for wines himself. We can highly recommend this experience.

Amazing wines in a beautiful rural setting. - A wonderful 2 hours spent in the gardens of this old family run vineyard.. we tasted three types of wines and had a lovely cheese and meat platter with fresh breads.. then had a small tour round the vines. The gardens are stunning. Highly recommend.

An experience to remember - Incredible…the best word to describe this experience we had. We were lucky enough to join this tasting with two separate wine importers so had a unique tasting experience all together. We learned a wealth of knowledge about Portuguese wine, the Algarve, the history of the vineyard and the grapes themselves all while enjoying some incredible wines. This experience alone was wonderful but was complimented by great conversation with the wine maker and staff. We felt like family while we were there. A truly beautiful experience all around. Highly recommend a visit.

A peaceful gem and some great wine - We drank great wine under the shade of a 2000 year old olive tree. The vineyard tour was very informative and the location a tranquil respite from the heavy tourism around the area.

Great guide and tasting experience - Duart was a fantastic tour guide! We had so much fun and learned some fun facts about wine and tasting! The wine was great and we were able to buy some to bring to our hotel room as well 🍷👏👍

Amazing wine-tasting experience in a beautiful location - We got welcomed by the staff despite the place was technically closed, as it was Saturday and out of season. Nonetheless, they organised a whole wine tasting session with food prepared only for us. The location is beautiful and the wine is amazing. I left with a wide smile on our faces!

WARNING, this is not what it used to be!!! - We were here a couple of years ago, very good food, good wine tasting, a nice lunch, a bit expensive but ok. This time it was VERY bad, dull food, a bean mash with cod, pickled carrots for starter, main course over fried pork tenderloin with potatoes, and dessert consisted of a small roll of orange cake, no cream or ice cream, boring. Wine tasting? Sigh, no one told us about the little dabs of wine we got with the food. This cost €60 and was not worth it. WARNING, this is not where it was before, so forget all the great reviews!!!

Website over sells the experience expensive for what it is - Very very disappointing , we were lured by the lovely pictures on the website. Greeted by a gentleman who lacked any personality and seemed stressed by the whole event I’m sure he was very knowledgeable about the wines but seemed keen to hang on his knowledge “this white wine is made from white grapes and the red from red grapes” likewise on the tour which took us past the 2000 year old olive tree which we had to ask how old it was,! He said we water the young vines but not the old ones . No visit to the casks ,bottling, or making: It was so rubbish we went to another tasting the day after and it was cheaper and far far better in the same area. Also the toilet facilities were poor paper had to go in a bin which was overflowing .
