We make an adventure surrounded by nature and with spectacular views of the area and the volcano.\nThe tour consists of 5 rappels an 1 zipline in which you will experience different forms of descent by touching the wall or free descents, fly over the tree and canyon you can also enjoy a nice walk inside the river canyon that has small crystalline pools where you can make small jumps, you will feel an approach with nature , flora and fauna of the forest.\n The rappels have heights between 20 meters, 25 meters, 35mts up to 60 meters high, in addition we have two ropes, the main one through which the client travels and the second rope that is the safety rope to make the controlled descent and safer. At the end of the tour you can enjoy lunch.

Una experiencia increÃble: - Yesterday I went on an incredible canyoning tour with five platforms, ranging from the easiest to the most challenging. Waterfalls, rivers, and nature in its purest form—without a doubt, the best tour I’ve ever done. It was packed with adrenaline and moments of facing my fears.
The experience started with a friendly driver picking us up in a shuttle. Once we arrived, the team provided all the necessary safety gear for the adventure. Then we were taken in a company vehicle to the starting point, where lush trails led us deep into nature and toward the platforms.
The guides and staff were amazing—kind, attentive, and fully committed to helping us feel safe, especially when nerves kicked in. I’m afraid of heights, and they truly helped me overcome that fear.
To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch cooked over a wood-fired stove. Every detail was perfect, from the adrenaline rush to the warm hospitality. If you're looking for a tour that challenges you and fills you with awe, this is it.

You have to do this - Probably our favorite activity of the trip. Even my wife who was a bit scared at the beginning loved it. Immersive jungle experience. Beautiful and exciting. Don’t drive there unless you have a 4x4. They’ll pick you up.

An absolute highlight of our trip! Guides were amazing :) - My two teen sons, ages 18 and 16, and I loved this so much. I need to find exciting adventurous things for them to do and this was perfect! I loved this company from the very start, I had some questions and was able to easily communicate vai What's App to get these answered prior to booking and then the day prior. The location where we met is beautiful and from the moment we arrived the staff were warm and welcoming. We were geared up and headed out in no time, and reassured about the safey from the start. The guides really made this trip amazing - obviously the rapelling and waterfalls were awesome but the guides were too - fun and funny and just happy and positive. They 100% added to the overall experience. Everything went very smoothly, we felt super safe, the guides really knew what they were doing, it was seamless. They took pics and video as part of the excursion at no extra cost. After, we had time to change, shower if we wanted, etc, and then we headed to a local soda for a great meal. This was a real highlight of our trip and we'd do it again in a heartbeat if we are ever lucky enough to return. I'd definitely use Maquique for other excursions as well.

Trip highlight for our family - We went with our three kids (21 boy, 19 boy, 15 girl) to Costa Rica, and this was one of the excursions my wife found that was highly recommended. We did the waterfall rappelling-ziplining followed by the whitewater rafting, and it was everyone's favorite activity of the trip. The staff was so fun and high energy. I'm sure I'm misspelling their names, but Brieferson, Wardy, and the others made it memorable. The rappelling was so fun and in a beautiful area. All three kids loved it and would do it again tomorrow, as would my wife and I. They make sure you're safe, I had zero concerns throughout the experience.
They also do a great job of taking numerous pictures and videos of everyone along the way, and you download them for free, which is awesome. For example, our family of 5 had several hundred pictures! We were all anxiously awaiting the pictures to be ready so we could relive the experience.
After the rappelling there's a great snack, then we went straight into the white water rafting. Our raft was guided by Fox, who did a great job making it fun. The boys are older, but found it exciting and it was great to hear them laughing and enjoying themselves over the rapids and seeing their huge smiles. Besides guiding our raft, Fox pointed out numerous wildlife along the way. Since our kids were older, Fox kept them engaged by having us do donuts down some of the rapids, which we all loved! (Yes, it was still safe)
After all that, you're driven to a local restaurant and fed a delicious Costa Rican lunch. The food was super, and these activities were the highlight of the trip. My entire family strongly recommends it!!

Fantastic trip for family with waterfalls, rappelling, and zip lines - Great group of guides made for an outstanding adventure, especially Kenneth!. Don’t be shy signing up. They walk you through everything. The waterfalls were amazing. 5 rappels (one at 60 meters) and 2 zip lines. And a great munch to finish with!
They have lockers on site so you can store keys, id, money. Bring dry clothes and shoes for the lunch afterwards (so you’re not sitting in wet shorts!).

A must do activity in La Fortuna - This was an amazing experience - Gabriel and Maurizio went above and beyond to make sure we were safe, had loads of fun and overcome any nerves. This was truly an incredible experience rappelling down stunning waterfalls and zip lining across the rainforest. Couldn’t recommend this more highly. Thank you so much guys - pura vida!

Fantastic Canyoning and Ziplining Experience!! - My girlfriend and I had a 10/10 experience on our canyoning tour with Maquique! We originally booked with another company (they ended up canceling on us last minute). We are so grateful they did because we absolutely loved the entire crew at Maquique. All of the guides were so kind, knowledgeable and funny. We felt very safe and truly could not recommend this adventure more! The photos (included for free) were an amazing touch as well. Absolutely book this tour when you are in La fortuna.

Fun activity in Arenal area - What a fun activity to do in the rainforest!
We had great time rappelling down the waterfalls of Arenal. Maquique has the best spot for this and offers breathtaking 200 ft rappel down the waterfall!
It also has a couple of zip lines which we had fun riding upside down.
We had people ranging from 10 years to 49 years and everyone had a great time.
They also offer FREE photographs for everyone!

Best Tour in All of Costa Rica - My favorite tour of everything we did in Costa Rica! The guides were incredibly friendly and encouraging, and very attentive to everyone's safety. It was just the right amount of adventure for my 9 and 12 year old boys, without being scary or overwhelming. And the lunch was phenomenal as well!

What a fun day with the family! - Our family had an incredible experience with Maquique Adventure! We went canyoneering and had an absolute blast. The guides were amazing—super friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt completely safe throughout the adventure.
After all the action, we had a delicious meal at their restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was just as impressive.
We highly recommend Maquique Adventure for families looking for a safe, exciting, and memorable day in nature!
