Hidden path - Take did an excellent job guiding me through an old area of Kyoto, a bamboo forest, and wooded hidden path to get to the Fushimi Inari shrine. He took care to make sure we took breaks and knew of some great photo shots. I highly recommend Take and this tour!!

Once in a Lifetime Unique Experience - Take was an amazing guide. He provided a once-in-a-lifetime experience that is rare in today’s age. I cannot recommend him enough as a knowledgeable, interesting, and engaging guide. He also ensured we were safe and pointed out each and every little tidbit of information. As someone who has been on many different tours in many different places, this has to be one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Arigatou Gosaimashita!!!

Well worth missing the initial crowds! - Naru was an excellent guide. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. We learned so much on this tour. Beautiful trail through some bamboo groves with no one to be seen. The climb up to Mt Inari was challenging but Naru was very supportive and gave options. Thank you Naru for your expertise, friendliness, and professionalism.

Lovely hike - Excellent tour! Our guide Naru was kind, knowledgable, and professional. He brought us up a quiet route to see some hidden bits of the woods and different shrines, before bringing us to the main shrine, then down again along another scenic path. I would have gotten hopelessly lost trying to do it myself. He was also great for taking photos at scenic spots and for giving recommendations for the rest of our trip. Would highly recommend. The trail can be quite slippery and steep, so good shoes, comfortable clothes, and a bottle of water all advised.
