- Battambang - The group will gather at the hotel around 7:00 am and then proceed directly to Battambang province. The journey, which takes approximately 3 hours, will pass through Banteay Meanchey province before reaching Battambang. Along the way, there will be opportunities to stop and explore interesting sights. A brief stop will be made at a small store selling bamboo sticky rice for a taste test before continuing to Battambang.
Battambang offers several unique activities, including exploring the French quarter along the Sangke River, taking a ride on the Bamboo train, watching bats emerge from a cave, and visiting a traditional house from the 1960s.
- Phnum Sampov - Visitors can enjoy a pleasant walk up the hill or opt for a ride in a pickup truck or on a motorbike. Upon reaching the top, there are Buddhist temples to explore, expansive views of rice fields stretching for hundreds of hectares, and the somber site of the killing cave used by the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979. After exploring Phnum Sampov, the group will descend to watch bats emerge from the cave at sunset.
- Prasat Banan in Battambang - Banan Temple is the best-preserved Khmer temple in Battambang Province. Its distinctive five towers resemble the larger and more famous Angkor Wat. At the mountain’s base, a laterite staircase flanked by nagas leads to the temple. Built in the 11th century by King Udayadityavarman II, son of King Suryavarman I, the temple remains in better condition than Wat Ek Phnom despite some looting. It was constructed to offer prayers and express gratitude to the gods, reflecting the strong Hindu beliefs of the era.
