The experience was... - The experience was amazing! The opportunity to feed and bathe the elephants was truly wonderful- the elephants are not forced to do anything, if they don't feel like being around people, they are allowed to leave and wonder around the area. I also enjoyed the guide that explained the purpose of the sanctuary and how did the animals end up there, also giving insights in the Cambodian culture around elephants. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful experience - This was probably the second best experience that I had while in Cambodia after Angkor Wat. We were able to feed the elephants bananas, cucumbers, watermelon, and these interesting banana rice balls we made ourselves. The elephants loved them so much. Then the ability to give the elephants a bath in the river was really really awesome! Definitely wear your swimsuit if you plan on partaking, you will get soaked. I 100% recommend going on this tour.

Amazing elephants - It was wonderful to get up close and personal with the three elephants at the sanctuary. We fed and bathed them and had a great time. The staff is dedicated to allowing the elephants to make their own choices - our job was to follow the elephants’ lead.

Amazing elephant visit - What an amazing way to start a morning. We got educated by the team about the elephants. They had there at the compound and also all the work it entails. They were there to take amazing pictures of us and share details about the relationships of the elephants. I would recommend everyone visit. Truly fantastic.

Absolute must do in Siem Reap - Very nice experience with the elephants who are very cooperative. We were able to observe them in their habitat, create rice based goodies and lots of bananas and cucumberd to feed them, also followed them to their mud bath and in the river where we could join them.

Great Amazing Experience - It was an amazing, interactive experience. The elephants roam free and are not forced to do anything. They live in a nice environment and are treated respectfully, which is important to me. We made them lunch and hand fed them. Then followed them down to the river, where we were able to get in and give them a scrub down. We had lots of time with them and lots of time to take pictures. Nothing felt rushed or hurried. A very enjoyable experience. In a place where they deserve support for their care of these amazing creatures.

Elephant sanctuary - Chance to get up close to elephants and feed and wash them . After eating fresh fruit we then hand feed them the rinds. Excellent host who explained what to expect for our 2 1/2 hour visit.

A unique experience - It was just incredible. There were 3 elephants. We were only 9 visitors to the camp Before we were allowed to feed there was a lot of information that was also good for us (Germans with limited English skills) to understand. The elephants did not have to serve as mounts nor were they chained. First we kneaded elephant dumplings and then fed them to the animals. Time for great photos was plentiful. Then the elephants trotted to the river and anyone who liked was allowed to scrub off the animals. A great experience. And the caretakers' treatment of the animals was so affectionate.

Badly managed, but Great cause - I was told to be in the lobby, 30 mins before pick up of 12.30. They eventually turned up at 13.25. No apology was given. The elephant sanctuary itself was well run and the guide was informative and it was a fun afternoon. It ran late so I had to share a taxi back to the hotel with another couple. There were a lotnof people there, 30 plus which was a lot more than I had expected, as a small group tour. Great cause but not without it's stresses.
