Zakopane was made more amazing by Maciek, our driver who knew his stuff and kept us entertained throughout the trip. - The driver was polite, courteous and informative. He drove carefully and we felt safe. We saw a lot of Zakopane in the 3 hours we spent there. Even though it was raining, he slowed down near the ski jumps and also took us to the village with the wooden houses and cheese tasting.

Magnificent Tour and Very Kind Guides! - This tour was amazing! The view of the Tatra Mountains was unforgettable and our tour guide Maciek was very helpful during the whole trip. He answered many questions, and gave us great recommendations for food and places to visit while on our trip. Weronika, who helped us originally book at the Legendary Krakow office, was very kind and also incredibly helpful. We have her to thank for some great advising and wonderful new memories we’ve made now! I would recommend this trip to anyone and hope to do it again one day!

Fascinating experience in Zakopane - Good driver Hubert was superb, also as a quide. Trip was more than I expected. Zakopane was beautiful, funicular was an exciting experience, small villages fascinating, landscapes breathtaking. Strong recommendation. :)

Interesting and fun day trip from Krakow. Highly recommend! - We were collected promptly from the meeting point and were met by our friendly guide Mateusz. The drive to Zakopane was around 90 minutes with a toilet stop. Mateusz provided commentary en route and information about what the day would entail. Our first stop was at a local village where we had a short walk and time for photos. The next stop at the Shepherds Hut gave us an opportunity to try a locally made cheese and vodka shot. This was one of our favourite moments. We then headed onto Zakopane where we had a couple of short stops at the ski jump and local church before being given 3 hours free time in the city itself. We took the funicular (entry included in the tour) to the top of the mountain where we stopped for lunch and took in the beautiful view of the Tatras Mountains. This still allowed enough time to visit the bustling city centre with wonderful shops and stalls before we made the return trip. Mateusz was excellent throughout, providing commentary but also checking in with everyone to see if they enjoyed their day. We highly recommend this tour!

A must one-day trip from Krakow - Great road trip, Piotr is an excellent driver and tour guide. On schedule, happy to help and fast replies in messages. Zakopane was beautiful, the view was amazing, great for pictures, coffee, a beer and eating.

Brilliant day out! - We had a great time! Maciek, our driver and guide, was so lovely, informative and polite. He was perfectly on time picking us up and as it was an early start for us and as the drive was so smooth we had a little nap on the way. We loved the cheese tasting so much, ended up buying some to bring back home (make sure if you do that it's in a vacuum packaging as it's pungent. Then onto Zakopane, it's a lovely town but it's the views of the mountains that make it worth the drive. Simply beautiful. We had 3 hrs to explore so went up the funicular first. No queues and they seem to go up and down at regular intervals. Such a great area up there to take pictures. And once up there there's and because its spring the gravity slide was open, which we highly recommend for teens and adults! Once back in town there's loads of shopping opportunities and places to eat. We went to Bistro Kryjowka for lunch, which we highly recommend. Then we were treated to one last stop on the way back. To The Great Krokiew, to view a ski jump and the practice jump slopes. It's pretty impressive. Overall brilliant day out! Bistro Kryjówka

Reasonable Tour to Zakopane and more - We had an amazing trip to Zakopane, prices was VERY reasonable, Maciek the driver was very helpful, he was dropping us directly to the entrance of each attraction. I highly recommend this tour!
