Well worth the trip 👍 - We booked this trip to Zakopane and the thermal baths, online, before we left for Krakow. It was simple, and easy. The trip from Krakow, in a mini bus, took just over one and a half hours. We drove through some beautifull countryside, and small towns on the way. We had a 20 minute stop for drinks etc, at a really nice cafe midway through the journey (see photo) Upon arrival at Zakopane, the scenery is truly breathtaking. The mountains and the town of Zakopane are just stunning! We took the cable car up to the restaurant area, our cable car ticket was included in the price of the trip! The view from the top is amazing, and there are a few choices of where to eat + drink etc, all of which serve nice food, with reasonable prices. There is an array of various stalls etc, that sell local foods and trinkets, etc, such as fridge magnets, etc. We had only a 2 hour stop here, which isn’t really long enough to take it all in, but then we had another 45 minute journey to the thermal baths, so you are really on a tight schedule. At the baths, once again our entrance fee was in with the price of our trip. The changing rooms are communal, so you have both sexes walking around in the changing area! You are given a nice warm dressing gown and a towel to use, all included in the price. There are several different pools to choose from which all have different temperatures. There is also a nice cafe / restaurant, which serves nice food too. We had 1 and a half hours here, which was plenty of time! All in all, the trip was worth the time and money, giving good value, and allowing you to see and do 2 different expieriences of Poland. We had a great day!

An awesome experience with a fantastic Guide and driver - A fantastic day out, starting with the wooden houses which were interesting and unique, was a quick stop but enough time to get pictures and then move to the next activity. Cheese tasting and Vodka was also another quick stop, the cheese was delicious with a unique smokey taste and we got to try 3 flavours of vodka. Next came Zakopane, the funicular ride up the mountain was quick and regular. The views up the top were amazing, made all the better by snow in April. We didn't explore the food options on the mountain instead going down and trying food from various market stalls. Finally we traveled to the thermal baths, 2.5 hours sounded like a long time and we weren't sure what to expect, it was actually perfect. Multiple pools to try with our favourite being the outdoor pool. Overall a day with some great experiences and one I would recommend. On a personal note our trip guide was Marco and our driver Lukasz. The trip started with an awkward encounter due to space on the bus. Marco handled this with grace and decided to get a larger bus. Some of the roads were tight and with snow as well Lukasz made us feel safe and that he was very much in control of the vehicle. Marco seemed incredibly passionate about the experience and Poland in general, he seemed to have pride in sharing these experiences with tourists.

Fab well organised day out - Marco was a great tour guide and not to forget Lucas who drove the coach safely and professionally. When the coach we had was completely full, Marco decided we would change coach on the way so we were all more spread out and comfortable. The trip itself was such a good day. Tasting the local cheese and vodka shots on the way, funicular up to the top for amazing views and photo opportunities. Finishing at the thermal baths which I must say were impressive.. way more vast than I expected and so clean! Marco is enthusiastic and a great positive fun guide for us! Thank you ahain..sharon, sacha, jeremy and dan x
