Must See in Krakow - Excellent museum showing the atmosphere of the war times and the misery the Jewish inhabitants of Krakow were driven into. I think it is a must see attraction in Krakow. Worth booking a ticket online

Worth the time - Our tour guide was a wealth of information and prepared to answer any questions we had. I wish I could remember her name! Be prepared that visiting this museum is NOT all about Schindler. He is a small piece of the story and our guide did an incredible job of sharing the story of this community’s transitions throughout the years. Personally I am glad we took the tour- I learned far more than I would have reading the limited English plaques. An hour and one half was just enough time.

Go! - The guided tour was extremely interesting, more than anything it was focused on Krakow during the war. Super interesting to hear and amazing to see the building in real life. Absolutely worth visiting with a guide.

Informative and interesting - What an experience. Initially we weren't going to go to Schindler's factory but so glad we did. Mateusz was a phenomenal guide. He was so knowledgeabe and willing to answer questions and not rush through or dismiss guest questions because of time restrictions he took his time and was very polite and considerate. The factory doesn't just focus on Schindler himself and Mateusz provided us with background information and tied in where he fitted in with history. Our group was about 10 people and this worked really well because it gave Mateusz time to interact with us. Glad we got in so last minute. If you're going to do this tour, book with Mateusz, you will not be disappointed!!!! Thanks Mat!

Too crowded to enjoy - We booked a self tour in advance, recommended as the queues to get in are quite long. Unfortunately we found the experience a little lacking, with the guided tours blocking the route though in parts, which were not using any form of audio equipment, so you could hear a cacophony of voices/languages. This overall made it difficult to navigate or see the exhibition. Disappointed, perhaps a guided tour would be better?

Very interesting but a little rushed - We went at 10am to avoid the crowds and there was no queue when we arrived; we just went straight in. We booked a guided tour which with hindsight, I wish we hadn't. The guide was very good, she was very knowledgeable and she shared some very interesting facts about WW2 in general as well as information about Oscar Schindler. However, the tour is too fast, you don't get to look at all the exhibitions. It was a bit of a whistle stop visit in each section and I think personally, I'd have preferred to spend a bit more time and gone slower through the museum. There are speakers in the museum with audio running all the time so it was hard to hear the guide at times. It's quite narrow in places so people are trying to get past while you're trying to listen to the guide. There are toilets on the ground floor, lockers to store bags, a separate storage section to leave a case if you need to and a small cafe. We got a table in the cafe after the tour as it was a mid-week morning and fairly quiet but I'd imagine it would be very busy in the afternoon. Overall, I enjoyed it but if I went again, I'd look round with no guide and take my time.
