Helena is an outstanding guide and vital to learning about Jewish history in Krakow - It's a long day with a lot of standing (and not as much walking as I thought), but our guide Helena did an outstanding job of conveying Jewish history from the historic quarter south of Krakow through to World War II and the aftermath. The full five hours was needed, as was doing the walks before and after Schindler. My only negative was the tour of Schindler's Factory. We had a group of four on the walk around the Jewish Quarter prior to the factory, and a group of 9 after the factory to the ghetto. In the factory, the group size was over 20 and most of the time we couldn't see what Helena was talking about. The museum is not big enough to handle those group sizes. I hope in the future the company limits the museum tour group size a bit better, especially for those paying for the walking tour before and after. We were disappointed with the museum visit and wish we had done the museum on our own. For the walks, we absolutely needed Helena and are so grateful she was our guide.

Excellent Tour with an Excellent Tour Guide! - Barbara was our tour guide and she was excellent! She was very knowledgeable and helped us to understand the growth of the Jewish population in Krakow as well as the tragic push into the getto and the final move to the extermination camp. She also walked us through the entire program within the Oskar Schindler Museum. I was impressed with Barbara’s skill as a tour guide as well as the depth of her knowledge!

Interesting & Informative guided walk through the Jewish quarter, the ghetto and Schindler factory museum. Great guide. - Good communications about the trip beforehand with clear instructions given the day before re where to meet. We were met by Christophe our guide at the old synagogue in the Jewish quarter. He was excellent and so knowledgable. He Spoke very Good English so it easy to understand him and he took the time to answer our questions clearly. The tour was extremely informative and very interesting. We learnt so much about the history of the city, the buildings and the Jewish people living within Krakow over centuries. Walking through the ghetto Christophe shared some stories and facts about the awful events that happened there. The walking tour took about two hours and involves quite a lot of walking, sometimes in cobbles, so wear comfy shoes, but it was not at too fast a pace so was manageable. Christophe also led us as the guide at the Schindler museum. It was so interesting and so much more, and much better than we expected. So many wonderful exhibits depicting life in krakow before the war and then how life changed during and after the war. It was very moving hearing the story of the awful events that happened and then seeing Schindler’s office and other sets from the movie that made it all so real. It was quite busy so having headsets was really helpful and we could hear everything clearly. The tour took about two hours. I would like to go back and look at some more of the exhibits, photos and documents as there wasn’t enough time to stop and look at everything during the tour. Nice coffee shop there and lockers to leave coats and bags securely, as it was quite warm in the museum. Well worth doing the tour. Highly recommend it. 10/10 overall and thank you to our guide for making it such a worthwhile trip.

Very Somber Experience - The tour guide was very knowledgeable, but unfortunately, the whole situation is very rushed. I would definitely do the tour not in a group next time because they hurried us through everything.
