Book with Mr Shuttle - We had initially booked with another tour company who kept cancelling people’s tours. A Facebook group suggested using Mr Shuttle. I switched to them and I’m thrilled I did. Their communication from start to finish was brilliant. We were never left in doubt and knew what to expect every step of the way. It was also better value as who I’d previously booked with and included lunch. I wasn’t expecting much of a lunch but it was superb and plentiful. They even included a lemon wipe and chewing gum. I have added a picture. Not sure if they cater to specific dietary requirements but they seem the type of company, that if you let them know, it wouldn’t be an issue. They were so personable. The driver was lovely, friendly and informative. The guide at Auschwitz & Birkenau was just as lovely and explained everything in such a respectful manner. Pick up was 5.55am but that’s because our Auschwitz slot was 7.30am. The driver even put on a film of Auschwitz for us to watch on the way. He asked us first if we’d like to. Again, so respectful. Even asking if temperature of Mercedes bus was ok. We were on a minibus with about 16 other passengers and it was a comfortable ride with a super driver. I wouldn’t hesitate using their services again. Excellent value, well worth it and never left us in doubt of how the day would run. Being neurodivergent, this made a huge difference to me.

Very emotional day but a must do - The tour was well organised, bus driver Thomas was a very nice person, very patient with latecomers, the tour of Auschwitz & Birkenau was very emotional but something everyone should see in their lifetime. The salt mine was a fantastic way to end the day, was a long day but definitely worth doing.

Good to do both trips in one day - If in Poland, a trip to Auschwitz is a must, to pay respect. Our misty weather matched the sombre mood that morning. Our Guide was very knowledgeable and informative. An ample lunch pack was included. The Salt Mine visit was fantastic and lifted your spirits after Auschwitz so it was good to do them both in one day. Again, an excellent Guide at the Salt Mine. All in all, a great day out.

Excellent from Start to Finish! - It was an excellent day from start to finish, pick up was bang on time and the whole day perfectly organised, our driver Michael was 5 stars all on his own, we were given clear guidance from start to finish and nothing was a bother to him. Our tour guide for both camps was amazing too we learnt so much. Lunch was great much better than we expected. We would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for having us!

1st visit to krakow - We decided to do the salt mines and auschwitz in 1 day. This worked really well. Our driver for the day was really nice and helpful. The salt mines were really good to see, my frustration was that the guide ran us round and started the commentary whilst people were still trying to get to her, so lots of the history was lost 😢. We were all walking fast but there were so many of us. What they need is the headsets that they have at auschwitz so you can hear the guide at all times. The trip to auschwitz was heartbreaking as you can imagine but our guide was so informative, knowledgable, sensitive and authentic, really really good. She was also very thought provoking about relying history to ensure people don't ever behave in the same way again

Shocking tour guide - The transport and logistics were great but the tour guide at Auschwitz was terrible and then she was only with us for 5 minutes at Birkenau before trying to make us leave the site! The mine was fab.

Not what I expected from Viator - The tour was ok. They really don't tell you that instead of at 7 am they will pick you up at 6 am and by 7.30 am you will have to stand in line for an hour, under the snow with another 300 or more people to get into Auschwitz. When we got to the famous gate we find out we can't see it because it's fully covered by a tent and under renovations. Lunch included consisted of a salad and a sandwich the guide threw us in a bag and we ate standing outside a "coffee area" in freezing weather.

Really nice tour - guide didn’t communicate well - The tours were really interesting, although I feel the Birkenau section felt rushed. The Salt mines was really different and cool to see. My only issue was the lack of communication with our guide. We were not given any instructions as to what was going to happen, when and where we were to meet up etc. He has no distinguishing items to pick him out of the HUGE crowds, and our entire group had issues staying together. When we exited the Salt mines, we emerged outside in the dark, 1/3 mile from where we started. There was no bus, no idea how to get back to the entrance, thankfully 1 of the 14 of us had viators #, then got the drivers # so we can tell him where we were and then they could pick us up. It was extremely stressful and if there hadn’t been so much of us, I’m not sure what would have happened.
