Additional Information

Maximize your time in Poland by ensuring a visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the historic site of a former German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp. Become informed about the unsettling acts of violence that took place there and pay your respects to the 1.1 million individuals who met their end in the most horrendous circumstances. Gas chambers, executions, medical experiments, beatings, and severe labor conditions were some of the horrifying methods used as part of the notorious “Final Solution to the Jewish Question”, a Nazi endeavor to wipe out the entire Jewish population. Although it’s distressing, Auschwitz is a critical location to visit to continually remind the world of the Holocaust- a dark blot in our global history.

The site, part of Unesco’s World Heritage Sites, comprises several of the original camp blocks, barracks, and guard towers. The museum situated within the complex showcases a vast collection of the prisoners’ personal belongings, along with items from the camp.

  • Our operators are not official tour guides but English-speaking professional drivers and Locals that have been provided with all the necessary historical information about the sights visited. They cannot accompany you into the sights but will provide extended historical and local information to help you get the feeling of the city.
