Review of the Auschwitz Birkenau tour - This trip was fantastic. Our driver for the day was a gent called Michal who was really knowledgeable, witty and patient (particularly given we were a little late meeting at the arrival point) Would definitely recommend.

Auschwitz solo tour - The trip was seamless from beginning to end, I was picked up by Piotr in a comfortable minibus from outside my bnb and after we picked up the rest of the passengers drove us to start the tour of Auschwitz. The tour was excellent and deeply moving, our group was led by a very well informed lady (apologies I can’t recall her name) who came from the town close to the camp and a deep personal connection to the atrocities with family members who were prisoners, she also referenced many interviews she had conducted with survivors of the Nazi rule. We were taken initially from Auschwitz camp 1 to birkenau by Piotr and later dropped off at our respective accommodation in krakow. Thank you to all for making an important experience all the more memorable through a very well organised tour.

Activity canceled the day before without being informed! - I had booked a visit in French that the company was supposed to confirm for me the day before around 1 p.m.... I received no confirmation and I had to call at 5 p.m. to find out what was going on. I was told that I was delayed by 48 hours for a visit in English. Then the explanations are doubtful and multiple. The bottom line is that they didn't have enough French tourists and canceled the tour but they are lying by claiming guide strikes. The explanations are cold and detached. They don't realize that you are trying to organize your vacation as best as possible and that their commercial practices are tarnishing your stay. If you don't know what to do with it, it's important to know that it's a good idea to do it twice.

Bad trip - On March 17, we were on an organized tour of Auschwitz. It was very poorly organized. let's start with the fact that we booked a 10:00 AM appointment in the morning. Before the day of the event, in less then 24 hours, they sent a message at 4:00 PM that the time had changed to 2:00 PM. We accepted the appointment, because we had no other choice, but I don't know how anyone with a flight schedule would be able to adapt. Of course, no refund was given. The tourist guide arrived late. Many tourists were late and we had to wait. We hardly heard anything during the tour, because there was no audio guide, which was promised when booking. The groups got along, you couldn't hear anything from other tourist guide, nor from the tourist groups as they left. He finished the whole tour very quickly, another lady kept urging him. There was hardly any time for anything, just a rush. They didn't say anything about the individual parts, they just led us through in front of it. He never waited for the whole team to get there, he started talking. Unfortunately, it was not worth the money. I've been once before, it was a much better tour, the museum's own. I dont recommend it to anyone.
