Eventually, you’ll arrive at Nagi Gompa, a Buddhist monastery nestled in tranquil surroundings. Pause here to explore the monastery and take in the sweeping views of the Kathmandu Valley.
- Nagi Gompa - Continue your hike from Nagi Gompa. The trail ascends further, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. After a steady climb, you’ll reach Baghdwar, the source of the Bagmati River and a sacred site for Hindus. Take a moment to rest and soak in the serene atmosphere.
- Bagdwar Resort - After appreciating the views, begin your descent back towards Baghdwar. From Baghdwar, retrace your steps and hike back to the Shivapuri National Park entrance gate. Exit the park and follow the trail back to Budhanilkantha. Arrange transportation from Budhanilkantha to Kathmandu.
