Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)
Ace the Himalaya - Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, an airport representative will greet you, holding an Ace the Himalaya signboard outside the terminal. You will then be transported to your hotel in a private tourist vehicle.

Note: A pre-trek meeting will be held either on Day 01 or Day 02 at our office. During this meeting, your trek leader/guide will be introduced. Please bring your passport, three passport-sized photos, and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. Any outstanding balance should be settled, and the legally binding trip form and non-liability disclaimer should be signed during this meeting.
Guided Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Pashupatinath Temple - Pashupatinath Temple, located on the banks of the Bagmati River, is one of the most important Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Although entry is restricted to Hindus, the temple and its activities can be viewed from the eastern bank of the river. This square, two-tiered pagoda temple is renowned worldwide.
Boudhanath Stupa - Boudhanath is one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. Built in the 5th century, it features four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions, symbolizing eternal vigilance over the people and their actions. Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims can be seen circling the stupa, spinning prayer wheels.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square - Explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Royal Residential Quarter of Bhupatindra Malla, known for the five-storied Nyatapola Temple in pagoda style, Batsala Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, Duttatraya Temple, Pujari Muth, and the Palace of 55 Windows.
Fly to Lukla (2,804 m) - 35 mins. Trek to Phakding (2,610 m) - 3 hrs
Phakding - The day begins with an early morning flight from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu to Tenzing and Hillary Airport in Lukla (2,804 m), lasting 35 minutes. Upon arrival, your guide will brief you and introduce your porters before starting the trek to Phakding.
After landing, there is time to explore the village while the Sherpa crew organizes and loads the trekking equipment. The trek begins with a descent towards the Dudh Kosi River, joining the main trail to Namche Bazaar, just above Chaunrikharka (2,713 m). The walk is easy, and after passing through the small village of Ghat (2,550 m), it is a short walk to Phakding.
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) - 5.5 hrs
Namche Bazaar - The trek continues along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing the impressive river multiple times on thrilling suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. After entering Sagamartha National Park, the trail ascends steeply, offering breathtaking views. Namche Bazaar, known as the Gateway to Everest, boasts numerous quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchange services, internet cafes, and bakeries. It is the largest town along the Everest trail.
Namche Bazaar Acclimatization
Namche Bazaar - A day is spent in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning air. A short trek leads to a museum renowned for its exhibits on the traditional customs of the Sherpa people. A hike to Syangboche Airport near the Everest View Hotel offers rewarding views of the Himalayas, with stunning sunrises and sunsets over the Khumbu peaks.
Trek to Phorste Thanga (3,680 m) - 5 hrs
Trek to Machherma (4,470 m) - 5 hrs
Machhermo - The trek ascends a ridge, providing excellent views down the valley to Kengtega and up towards Cho Oyu, before descending to a river and climbing steeply to the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier. Arrival in Machherma is expected by early noon.
Trek to Gokyo (4,790 m) - 5.5 hrs
Trek to Gokyo Ri (5,483 m) and back to Gokyo - 5 hrs
Gokyo Ri - An early morning steep climb leads to the summit of Gokyo Ri at 5,483 m. The effort is rewarded with stunning views of the Gokyo Valley, the massive Ngozumpa glacier, and an incredible panoramic view of the entire Khumbu Himalayas, including the giants Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, and Gychung Kang.
Trek to Dole (4,200 m) - 6 hrs
Dole - The trail leads to a descent to Dole.
Trek to Namche Bazaar via Khumjung village (3,780 m) - 5 hrs
Namche Bazaar - The trek continues through the typical Sherpa village of Khumjung, leaving the mountains behind as the descent back to Namche Bazaar begins.
Trek to Lukla (2,804 m) - 6 hrs
Lukla - The trek concludes with a return to Lukla, where the journey began. This is a time to enjoy and reflect on the trek as a group and celebrate the personal achievements of all participants. There is also time to further explore the town.
Morning Flight to Kathmandu
Kathmandu - The flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla offers final glimpses of the mountains recently visited. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, an airport representative will transfer you to your hotel.
Leisure Day and Farewell Dinner in Kathmandu
Kathmandu - After the demanding trekking program, a leisure day in Kathmandu is available. Options include extending the trip to a Chitwan jungle safari, rafting adventure, Kathmandu valley shopping tour, scenic Everest flight, mountain biking, and other activities. In the evening, a farewell dinner is arranged at a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances.
Transfer for your final flight departure
TIA - The trip concludes with an airport representative escorting you to Kathmandu’s Tribhuwan International Airport for your departure flight from Nepal.

This region boasts panoramic sights of Nepal’s famed mountains, each reaching 8,000 m, including Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu, that are impeccably visible from Gokyo Ri situated over Gokyo Lake. A notable highlight is the breath-taking ice ridge panorama between Cho Oyu and Gyachung.
Starting at the airport in Lukla, the captivating journey unfolds. Over the next days, we engage and blend in with the locals, also referred to as the Sherpas, staying at their lodges and delving into their village’s core. We traverse past Buddhist monasteries, with the sight of Everest and other high, snow-capped mountains growing increasingly conspicuous with each passing day. After reaching Gokyo Ri (5,483 m), we descend back to Namche and Lukla at a relaxed rhythm, catching our return flight to Kathmandu.
