The Museum consists of seven Period Rooms i.e Sheesh Mahal,

Takhat Vilas,
Sardar Vilas,
Jhanki Mahal,
Dipak Mahal,
Moti Mahal and six Galleries namely, Howdah Gallery, Palanquin Gallery, Daulat Khana, Painting Gallery, Textile Gallery and Arms Gallery.
