Recommended! Leisurely and Nice Length. - A nice overview of the coffee and plantation process and how they both impact the local community. Irwin was a great guide who spoke extremely good English, which was a major plus. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get out of Antigua for a half-day, leisurely excursion.

Best way to spend a day in Antigua! - By far one of the best experiences we had on our Antigua vacation. Our guide Hugo was passionate about more than just the coffee and macadamia nut farms, but also explaining about daily life, the importance of the various industries and the importance of organic farming. He was willing to customize our trip to our needs, including stops along the way, and pointing out anything else that was really important. An absolute MUST!

Wonderful day of culture and beauty - Erin picked us up at our hotel and took us to El azote coffee plantation. He was knowledgeable about the history and very pleasant to chat with. We went to a textile gallery where I got to try on traditional Guatemalan clothing and buy a few tapestries for my home. Then we went to the macadamia farm and got a tour, a lovely face massage with macadamia oil and lunch (macadamia smoked bbq!). My skin looks great hours later and we had so much fun! Erwin had a clear schedule so we got to take our time and enjoy everything. Highly recommend this experience for families and small groups.
