Excellent tour - Itamar was our guide. He loves his job. He is enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, well organized, and funny. The tour included the Old City -- all 4 quarters -- and a lot of walking. Probably 4-5 miles in total. We stopped for lunch at a very crowded restaurant. I think that lunch was unnecessary. We only had about 1.5 hours at Yad Vashem, the magnificent and deeply affecting Holocaust Memorial. I strongly recommend skipping lunch entirely or suggesting that people bring their own. Even 2.5 hours at Yad Vashem is not nearly enough. But kudos to Itamar. He is a superb guide and he made a very good day much more enjoyable and memorable.

Nice tour, but be smart - Everything was nice, the guide was also very kind. The only thing that really isn't fair is that they have ripped us all of at the souvenir shop where the guide took us. The whole story "this store is authorized by ministry of tourism, we have 50% off" and all nonsense, just forget it. First they don't display prices anywhere, them when you ask them, everything is 3-5 dollars, and than when you come to the register they charge you 100 dollars for 5 bracelets. So avoid shopping there and bring your own lunch.
