Christmas in Jerusalem and Bethlehem - Overall a positive experience for us. Comfortable bus, good driver and guide. Yusuf was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We loved seeing Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Though the tour through via Dolorosa felt a bit rushed. We would have like to get more time to shop souvenirs there. But we understand such tours are on a tight schedule. We were glad to stop at the Christian souvenir shop in Bethlehem so we could buy souvenirs there in peace without getting harassed by local sellers. The food in Bethlehem was great, sufficient variety and good quality. At times it could be chaotic in the restaurant with new groups coming in. It was said upfront that the church of Nativity was open only for those with a ticket. But then our Palestinian guid said he could sneak us in. We didn’t feel comfortable doing anything “illegal” in that sense so we just went outside to watch the mass on the square and stroll around a bit by ourselves until it was time to leave. At the end the tour guide asked for tips as “the driver and himself wouldn’t get paid for the tour” or something like that - but we already paid $135 pp so we didn’t feel obliged to give tips on top of that. If the driver and guide don’t get paid then just increase the tour price - tourists will pay for it anyways. That was a bit weird. But okay overall it was a nice experience, well organised and good tour company.

Great Experience with tour guide YOAV MALACHI - What a memorable night at Bethlehem on Christmas Eve! Yoav is a very knowledgeable tour guide with a good sense of humor. Our tour began with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from Mount of Olives followed by a tour of Old City of Jerusalem going through many of "Jesus' last 14 stops". He then took us to Bethlehem for the midnight mass. This place was heavily secured and we didn't expect to go inside the church during the midnight Mass. With various attempts, Yoav somehow was able to get us in for a few minutes to witness such a special occasion at such an important site. Bravo! Overall, Yoav is one of those few tour guides who will optimize both the time and the route ensuring we get the best possible experience. A very responsible tour guide.

A really great guy and guide - Yosav Malachi was our guide. He was always helping, even in one by one to explain some adittional things that were not included in our visit. Really good sense of humor and always trying that everyone feel right with everything. I will repeat for sure with this company, and if it’s possible, with this guide. Thanks Mr. Malachi 👏👏👏

Be careful. I paid X but get Y. It... -
Be careful. I paid X but get Y. It was quite frustrating: we did not visit Church of the Nativity. Regarding Grab a light snack and beverage at a local Christmas shop: I recommend you bring your own snack - there was zero snack. The tour guy from Israel was a little bit rude. And the tour guy from Bethlehem did a very poor job. The Jerusalem tour was very short the Bethlehem tour was too long. I do not recommend this company. Find another trip to Bethlehem in a different company. Good luck!

This is unfortunately the worst experience I ever had in a guided tour with this price. - 1. The guide should speak better English and speak clearer when using the microphone. 2. The restaurant was not something you expect for a Christmas Eve and you should place less people in every table. Taste was good though. 3. Don't say it is possible to be in a mass inside the church if it was not going to be possible from the beginning. That was fake propaganda. We stood for more than 2 hours outside under the rain and the mass couldn't be ever heard. 4. After the mass ended only 6 out of 39 people were taken into the church to just take a glance of what it was. We expected to see the grotto where Jesus was born but the policemen and priests were rude and sent everybody out after half an hour of being in a line. 5. Tourist traps in an expensive shop on the schedule. When we had time to buy something from the market in Jerusalem the guide was hurrying everybody and walking too fast. 6. The guide Mr Joseph was unrespectful to Christian beliefs, making some jokes on crucifixion, miracles and other sensitive topics. Not funny at all. 7. I still don't understand why do we have to leave a tip if for the service if the salaries of guides and drivers are supposed to be included. 8. Via Dolorosa has 15 stations, but only two or three were shown to us. 9. Coordination with the Palestine guide in Bethelem was terrible and at the end he even was very rude, actually very irrespectful to one of the customers on the bus. 10. I regret having wasted one of my days taking this tour. Not reccomended at all for anyone.

Definitely NOT, don't book this, don't do this - Very few of what they say will happen does. It was the least Christmas spirited thing we could do for a Midnight Mass. The tour guides in Jerusalem and Bethlehem did their job, but the overall tour was in short, disappointing. Dinner at the Christmas Bells restaurant was merely passable. We even asked the guides to just bring us back to Jerusalem instead of waiting hours in the least Christmas inspiring place ever, a real manger would have been a better place than Manger Square. No big screens, no access to anything. I do not recommend this tour AT ALL. Stay in Jerusalem and come to Bethlehem during the day only. It's scary during the night. If you don't have church issued tickets for the Mass, you have absolutely NOTHING to do here but endanger yourself.
