Amazing Customer Service - It was the best experience ever! Great crew with clean vehicles. The driver didn’t even let me pay for water and snacks that i got on my to Mount Fuji!
Would definitely recommend! They are a small business so they did their best to make my tour smooth and memorable. They didn’t even charge for an extra hour.

Amazing customer service! - Best part was the custom itinerary. You have the freedom of arranging your journey according to your comfort. Our driver Jake was amazing. He made sure to take us to best spots. We even spent some extra hours shopping and the driver was totally cool about it.
Would definitely consider again!

Good value for money - Good value for money as we booked a Mini-Van with personal driver for 6 people. Very nice driver (Sheraz). Was possible to book with short notice while other companies had already been sold out.
Mt Fuji was covered in clouds, cherry blossoms were too late for a perfect picture and there were too many people at the spots - but this was obviously not the fault of the driver nor the company, that was Japan ;-)

Horrible experience driver no show and charged 500$ - What story should we share. The driver of the Mount Fuji private tour never showed up and we didn’t go to Mount Fuji thru Viator. We called the local number given multiple times and no one picked. We called Viator so many times and they also couldn’t help us other than saying local tour driver is not picking up call and we will send them an email.
Viator really sucks. Horrible experience with couple of Mount Fuji tours booked via Viator
First, we booked a Mount Fuji trip on January 2 2025 8 AM for three people booking reference number 1212470831. We couldn’t find the the bus stop location and whenever we tried contacting the local driver to get information about the bus stop, nobody picks up the phone. finally we couldn’t find the bus stop location and we missed the bus. We lost around $200. We called Viator and they said they will request for a refund. We didn’t receive that yet, and looks like we are never going to receive it too.
Viator made us book a second tour saying it’s Mount Fuji private tour on Jan 3rd 2025 8 am private tour taxi with English speaking driver with platinum tours booking reference number 1212799675. And when I requested to please send a private cab to the hotel next to the Narita airport where I was residing instead of sending it to the Narita Airport terminal the Viator contact person lady said airport is easy and booked our pick up location Narita airport. and we couldn’t find the driver from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at Narita airport terminal one. And whenever we tried calling platinum tours local driver number provided on the booking no one picks up.
When we called Viator , the gentleman said they’ll send platinum tours an email. And we didn’t get any response yet. So this time we lost $500. I am not going to accept this nonsense.
Also We lost couple of hours of precious time and all the money. When I checked the reviews for platinum tours that Viator book for me the reviews show horrible ratings. When there’s no credibility with platinum tours why did Viator book ticket thru platinum tours
Viator doesn’t seem to be a credible website it seems to be a spam to us. Therefore, if you do not cancel all my bookings that we had booked thru Viator and refund my money.
I will go ahead and escalate the case and try to sue this website Viator company.

Just say no - If I were you don't book up this tour - was cancelled about 1 hour prior to departure. We has no opportunity of rebooking. Very sad

Poor Customer Service with Viator and Platinum Tours! - Viator will not assist with obtaining refund when tour company cancels your tour.
Asad from Platinum Tours reached out the night before regarding our Mount Fuji tour that their vehicles were involved in traffic incident. Platinum Tours then offered a refund so I requested a refund, they replied “will send you email shortly” it’s been almost 24 hours and we have not receive. Message Platinum Tours repeatedly with no response.
Contacted Viator twice for assistance but they could not help because Platinum Tours did not email Viator about the cancellation.
Do NOT use Platinum Tours for Mount Fuji! This is my experience with Viator trying to obtain a refund.
