Sam Sand dunes Camp Jaisalmer - Let’s revel in the Thar Desert…
At around 3 PM, we will depart from Jaisalmer by Car/Jeep. En route to the dunes, we’ll explore 2 historical sites. Jassery, an oasis, and Khaba Fort - offering a panoramic view of deserted villages and the landscape. Next, we proceed to Camel Point where you’ll embark on a camel trek through the Thar Desert for about an hour, culminating in a sunset viewing. Each participant will be provided with a personal camel. Post-sunset, a dinner will be cooked over an open fire, and you’re welcome to either unwind on the dunes or assist the camel herders with meal preparation. The dinner menu includes freshly prepared Dal, Mixed Vegetables, Rice, Chapati, and a side of spices, along with a sealed bottle of water.
You’ll spend the night in the desert under the starlit sky.
The following morning, after breakfast, you have the option to enjoy another camel excursion.
We will make our way back to Jaisalmer by approximately 10:00 AM.
Our tour guides are fluent in English, and our camel handlers are also conversant in the language.
During your desert adventure, you may store your luggage at our hotel. Upon your return from the camel safari, we offer a complimentary room for you to shower and rest.

Highly recommended camel safari in the Thar desert! - Very well organised camel safari in a quite and beautiful landscape!! Thanks to Padem we could experiance real wild desert life, sleeping under the stars and cooking in the sand, It was a great experiance. Highly recommended if you really want "to feel the desert"

Very nice experience in the desert with many stars - We did the tour with Padam Singh and it was a very cool experience. We stayed overnight had dinner and breakfast in the desert. Dinner was good and the sky full of stars amazing. Also the camel ride was a nice experience.

Lovely overnight desert safari with Santos&Kem - Amazing experience! Santos and Kem have been lovely desert guides. The night out in the desert (no tent, just a couple of bunk beds) is very recommended. It was just myself and my partner, we felt safe and would have loved to stay a couple of nights more in desert, but unfortunately we had to catch a flight. Nice singing included in the experience 😊

A memorable experience in good company - A highlight of our trip to India. The camels we’re comfortable to ride, the desert was beautiful, the food was good and sleeping under the stars a memorable experience. Our guides - driver and organiser Padam and camel-men Santos and Cam - were well organised, friendly, helpful and good company. Excellent.

The most magical safari in Jaisalmer - WHAT an amazing safari! The guide has lived in Jaisalmer his whole life and knows everything and everyone! I cannot recommend enough for your desert camel ride experience. We were picked up from our hotel, taken around some amazing local attractions outside the city and then onto the camels, a cosy dinner and campfire and falling asleep under the stars. Everyone super friendly, accomodating and made it the most special experience. I'll definitely be back to do it again and I wouldn't choose any other Safari but this one.

Excellent trip with some brilliant memories - Having dinner in the dunes with the sunset, a cracking dinner and some beers was the highlight of my entire India trip. The camels were well behaved, looked after very well and seemingly very happy. I'd book this tour again if I came back to India!

The silence, the beauty, - A night full of stars. Location was perfect, deep inside the desert. Sleeping under the full moon and the milky way was a fabulous dream and will stay in me forever, the food, the singing, the camel rides.... everything was amazing.
