An interesting family evening - We traveled to a lovely beach without light pollution. Our guides were so excited to share the stars and creatures with us. A special shout-out to Takahiro who kept us up to date in English.

Must-do experience - We had a blast! PiIt was a cloudy night so there was no star-gazing, but Takahiro-san still gave us a fantastic experience trekking through the Jungles of Ishigaki. We got to see some pretty cool creatures, and Takahiro-san also gave us some cool info about the various plants and wildlife that we saw. We were the only English speakers in this tour of 8 people, but we were still given English explanations for the main things and had a great time.

Loved it! - I had an amazing time. Even though I didn’t speak any Japanese, the guide Taka made sure that he translated to me and that I could enjoy the experience. Thank you very much. It was really cool to be able to see the starry sky like that and the giant blue crab.

What an amazing experience! - Kakeru was an amazing guide! We were a little scared we wouldn’t be able to see the night sky given the weather, but luckily after seeing some creatures, the sky cleared up a bit and we were able to see a few stars. Kakeru took pictures of every animal and shared them with us so we have them. Will definitely do more tours with Adventure PiPi when we return!

poor - joined star gazing tour. during the tour we found that it was actually tropical explorer tour (with some star gazing time) instead. 3 staff, 5 guests including us. instead of trying to deliver English translation of the tour information, the staff decided to spend time making friends with the 3 other young japanese ladies. the Japanese ladies appeared to enjoyed the trip though. overall I found it not worthwhile.

Don't trust their mails! - When you book this tour it says they will arrange pick up, but when your hotel is too far north they say they can't do it and you need to take a taxi which will cost you 35€ one way. Then they will sent you a mail which says: "If you wish to change or cancel the tour, please contact us by 6:00 p.m. on the day of the tour." You would think this is really nice, because it can get cloudy on the island, making it not possible to watch the stars, so it could be nice to cancel. We did this because it got cloudy, they sent us a message that they accepted our cancellation and then they told us they will be charging us full price. Poor communication and unfair treatment. We did the mangrove SUP and snorkeling tour with them. Also not great. Can check my review there.

Horrible Horrible Horrible - They literally take you to a field next to the Airport so not only do you have the lights from the airport , but the lights form the giant Intercontenntial Hotel shining across the shy. There is no way in the world you could ever see a good view of the milky way that the tour uses for its advertisement. Just another false ad in Japan for something that doesn’t live up to the hype. Sad really, Japan has given its soul up for the tourist money. Avoid this at all cost.
