Good overall tour of Goa - Minibus tour which took us to various churches and a well guided walk around the old Portuguese quarter and also a spice plantation with lunch included and a local guide who explained about the various spices. Overall well worth the cost.

Very Good Tour - We visited Goa aboard a cruise ship and booked this tour with Lijo after researching for private tour guides for Goa on line. E mails were answered relatively quickly and we were met as promised on the pier. We asked to amend the standard tour to omit the market and substitute with some local shopping which presented no problems. The guide was excellent and spoke very good English and was very informative. The tour of Panjim was good as was the local shopping ably assisted by our guide. Old Goa was interesting and informative and the timing of the tour was perfect for the return to the pier with plenty of time before our ship departed. We would certainly use Muziris Heritage Tours again because they were efficient with their communication prior to arrival and the tour was everything that they promised.

Goa tour experienc - The city of Goa is good and sites are very nice. However, the bus we toured on was very old and mic often not working + tour guide has heavy accent so makes understanding a bit difficult. But tour guide did his best under the circumstances.

Not the tour we selected - WE booked the city tour online which did not include the Spice Plantation or the Beach since we have two participants with difficulty walking on uneven surfaces . Upon arrival at the pier, we were told that the only two choices were city tour and beach or city tour and spice plantation. We were told that our tour would include everything on the city tour we had booked plus the spice plantation. We really did not want the Spice Plantation But since we had no other option we went. It was one hour to the Spice Plantation, one hour for lunch (which we did not want not did we eat) and one hour back to the pier. Additionally, the city tour did not cover two of the listed activities that we were promised. The tour guide was nice but this was not the tour we wanted or paid for.

Dissapointed - We have taken several tours thru Viator in the past which we throughly enjoyed. I’m sorry to say that this tour was almost boring. The guide seemed unsure of what to do or where to go. There was no plan. No admission fees, no water. We had to suggest sights to see. It acted as more of a private transfer then a tour.
