Ride to the countryside - Just back from the Countryside Cycling Tour which was great. We cycled from Hoi An to an island village where we visited a war veteran who makes rice wine (saw the and tasted the wine), a family that weave beautiful mats and lastly we were hosted for lunch by a family who manufacture rice noodles. So, we saw the rice wine making process; a demonstration of weaving and noodle making... and then a delicious lunch. What could be better? We then crossed the river by boat which had been organised for us and cycled back to our hotel. I highly recommend this tour for an authentic experience in a rural village. Thank you to our excellent guide and tour leaders who ensured our safety (Hoc and Vu). Hoc was informative and both were just so professional. 👍
