The journey begins with a steaming bowl of cao làu noodles, hand-cut from the original family house using water drawn that morning from the ancient Bà Lê well. This culinary journey is just beginning, with over 15 tastings in total - from smoky marinated meat skewers to shredded com gà chicken with aromatic rice.

Hidden away is an alleyway spot serving black sesame xí mà soup for over 70 years, made from the same secret recipe as the centenarian couple who created it. Next, we’ll explore the market to find stalls discovered by Anthony Bourdain, where the tapioca shrimp dumplings originate from the royal court kitchens of Huế.

• Hoi An - The culinary journey takes us to the nearby island village of Tra Que, for an exclusive invitation from an organic farmer to the 400-year-old community. There’s a hands-on experience to fire-grill rice paper and pick fresh herbs, before indulging in a farm-to-table feast: claypot braised eggplant, sizzling bánh xèo pancake, and “three friends” spring onion rolls, among other delightful surprises.
