Windhoek-Namib Desert

Namib Desert - Guests will be picked up from their hotel or guest house at 9 am, heading directly south to the renowned Sossusvlei via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass. There will be a stop at the viewpoint to admire the endless vistas of the Namib. Lunch will be enjoyed at the Solitaire oasis. Arrival at the lodge or campsite is anticipated around 3-4 pm. As this time of day is particularly hot, it is recommended to relax by the pool. An early rest is advised as an early start is planned for the following morning.

Dune 45, Sossusvlei - Desert Experience

Sesriem Canyon - At sunrise, the journey begins at the Sesriem Gate to the extraordinary Sossusvlei. The adventure starts with climbing the stunning Dune 45, taking in the beauty and vastness of the orange-hued landscape. An off-road drive will lead to the Dead Vlei, a vast desert pan where ancient, dried-up acacias stand silently in an impressive open-air gallery. For those with energy to spare, climbing one of the world’s highest dunes, ‘Big Daddy’ or ‘Big Mama,’ is an option. After the morning excursion, lunch will be served back at Sesriem, followed by a 1-2 hour break. Once the heat diminishes, a short trip to Sesriem Canyon will be the final activity of the day.

Sossusvlei to Swakopmund

Swakopmund- Etosha National Park

Etosha National Park - Guests will be collected from their hotel between 08:00 and 08:30 for a long drive. A stop in Usakos will be made to refuel and gather provisions. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in Outjo. Arrival in Okaukuejo is expected in the afternoon, followed by a drive through parts of the National Park in search of various wildlife. Accommodation will be reached just before sunset, with dinner concluding the day’s adventure.

Etosha to Windhoek

Etosha National Park - The day begins with an early game drive, followed by a delightful breakfast. The scenic journey back to Windhoek will then commence, passing through towns and rural areas, with a special stop in the charming town of Okahandja. Here, visitors can explore Namibia’s largest wood carving market, known for its authentic Namibian souvenirs. The market operates on a local cooperative basis, offering a wide array of unique crafts. Arrival back in Windhoek is expected late in the afternoon, marking the end of a memorable journey.
