Gombe Stream National Park - In the early morning, a representative from the company will meet you at your hotel in Kigoma town. You will then be transferred by boat, either a dhow or speedboat, to Gombe National Park. This boat journey is a delightful experience, providing picturesque views of Lake Tanganyika and the park’s lush hills. Upon reaching the park headquarters, check in and get comfortable in your chosen accommodation, whether a lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon, set out on your initial chimpanzee trekking adventure. Accompanied by an experienced guide, explore the forest in search of chimpanzee groups. Witness these captivating primates in their natural environment. Return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Chimpanzee Trekking & Return to Kigoma

Gombe Stream National Park - Start your day with an early breakfast. Head out on another chimpanzee trekking adventure. Each trek is a distinct experience, as the chimpanzees roam within their territory. You may encounter different groups or observe various behaviors. Spend time watching and photographing these amazing creatures, while ensuring a respectful distance is maintained. After your trek, return to the park headquarters. Travel back to Kigoma by boat for an overnight stay, or catch your flight back home.
