Arrival - Arusha

Arusha Region - Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Arusha for an overnight stay. Enjoy a leisurely day. On the way from the airport, if the weather is clear, you may catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, known as the “Roof of Africa.”

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - After a delightful breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up to begin your journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. At the entrance gate, you’ll be greeted by large troops of baboons. The park is home to nearly 300 elephants, and you may also encounter other wildlife such as lions, leopards, African cape buffalo, giraffes, gazelles, waterbucks, warthogs, hippos, and wildebeests. After a full day of exploration, you’ll be taken to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Karutu To Serengeti National Park (SERONERA)

Serengeti National Park - Start the day with an early breakfast, as an exciting day of exploration awaits!

The drive to the Serengeti Park gates takes nearly four hours, but optional activities can break up the journey.

Maasai boma visit: Visit one of the renowned Maasai bomas to experience traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic village, and shop for souvenirs at the local market.

Continue the scenic drive to the Serengeti, passing through the misty rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you might spot cape buffalo, baboons, or even elephants and leopards in the dense foliage.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Serengeti National Park picnic area before exploring the iconic savannah landscape, teeming with wildlife.

Mto wa Mbu - Maasai boma visit: Visit one of the renowned Maasai bomas to experience traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic village, and shop for souvenirs at the local market.

Serengeti National Park (KOGATENDE)

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, travel across the Togoro plains and through the Mbuzi Mawe kopjes (small hills) to reach the park’s northern areas.

Along the way, enjoy the diverse scenery, from wooded hills to open savannah, and spot wildlife ranging from the small dik-dik to towering elephants and giraffes.

Upon arrival in the Kogatende region, search for the Wildebeest Migration and the famous Big Five. Conclude the day with a drive to the tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park (KOGATENDE)

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, embark on a game drive around the Kogatende area, searching the kopjes for carnivores and large migration groups preparing to cross the Mara River into Kenya.

The Mara River, home to numerous hippos and Nile crocodiles, is the last major challenge for the Wildebeest Migration before reaching the safety of the Masai Mara. With patience and a bit of luck, you might witness the dramatic crossing, where wildebeest and zebras brave the river’s currents and crocodiles to reach the opposite bank.

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, head back towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The drive takes a different route, offering opportunities to spot animals missed earlier. Witness vast herds of wildebeests and zebras migrating together, graceful giraffes, leaping antelopes and gazelles, powerful African elephants, and the revered predators. Look out for lean cheetahs, elusive leopards, foraging hyenas, and the majestic lion.

Olduvai Gorge - Upon reaching Ngorongoro, visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum, known as the Cradle of Mankind. Discover some of the oldest evidence of human habitation and enjoy the stunning views of this stark gorge landscape.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - Often considered the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater offers breathtaking views from its panoramic viewpoint.

Home to over 120 mammal species, including the renowned Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a top safari destination. It’s an excellent place to see the endangered black rhinoceros and numerous hippos enjoying the water.
