- Guatemala City - We are going to start this incredible experience by picking you up in the lobby of your hotel. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes and be very hungry to enjoy a delicious pizza at the summit of Pacaya Volcano.
- Pacaya Volcano - We will start the climb to the Pacaya Volcano, this is one of the easiest volcanoes to climb in Guatemala, it will only take us 1 hour and a half to reach the top. You can climb at your own pace and enjoy the beautiful landscapes around. A local guide will accompany you from beginning to end and will be happy to explain all the curiosities that this beautiful active volcano hides.
- Pacaya Volcano - Once we are at the top, we will introduce you to David, a very peculiar chef who likes to prepare pizzas using volcanic rocks as an artisan oven to cook them. We are sure that you will not only enjoy the beautiful views of the volcano but you will also enjoy a delicious pizza, from David.
The hot rocks from the volcano are also great for melting marshmallows or preparing smores. Enjoy this free time for yourself!
- Guatemala City - After a day full of adventure in an active volcano, we will begin the descent. This will take us just 1 hour or less. Our professional bus pilot will take you back to your hotel so you can rest. Thanks for traveling with us!

Such a fun experience - Mynor was our tour up the volcano! He was the best! Super friendly and informative. He gave us suggestions and choices of how we want to go about the journey to the volcano. Gave us plenty of time to rest and gather ourselves thru out. Highly recommend him! 10/10

Enjoyable time - The sky was clear and view was amazing. The tour guide David was knowledgeable and prioritized safety. The pizza was top tier, overall great experience.
The pizza location recently changed, thus we hiked up a less crowded area.

Climb Pacaya with Pizza - An Excellent Adventure - I had a great adventure with Guat2do Travel Experiences on their Climb Active Pacaya Volcano Tour with Pizza. I had an excellent driver and guide. The traffic out of Guatemala City was awful with delays due to an accident and my driver Adelso was resourceful and skilled in finding an alternate route to get us out of the mess and to the volcano. My guide David was patient and helpful, answering all of my questions and teaching me a lot about the area and the volcano. Pizza was delicious and fun at the top of the hike. Although the fog rolled in for part of the walk, it cleared and left stunning views on the way down. Both Adelso and David went out of their way to take good care of me and ensure the trip was the best possible. Thanks for the professional, caring, excellent staff and outing!

Amazing experience. - This was the most amazing thing ever. The hike was a little tough, but it was so worth it.

We had Jovanny as a tour guide (not sure if his name is spelled that way), regardless, he was very informative, helpful and amazing. It was so much fun and we got great pics!

Pizza at Pacaya is a Must Do! - Such a great adventure. It was tough, but we hiked the full way by foot. There are options to ride a horse, if you’d like.
The views were lovely even with some fog — and our tour guide David was patient and informative.
The pizza was definitely the highlight after hiking about 1.5 miles up the steep incline. We even saw a couple get engaged at the picturesque lunch spot.

Volcano Hot Adventure - The view was amazing at the crest but it is important to mention that the guide kept us motivated and cheerful during the entire hike. Always with positive vibes and good stories. We had the opportunity to taste one of the best pizza we have had at a top of a volcano.

Adventure of a Lifetime! - This was truly and amazing, once in a lifetime experience! Transportation to and from my hotel in Guatemala City was smooth. My volcano tour guide David was great —he is bilingual, very knowledgeable, and quite friendly. And the pizza was delicious! This is an experience I would certainly recommend to those seeking adventure such as myself.

Phenomenal - Our guide Walter was incredible. Kept us engaged and learning the whole time -
also a great distraction so you don’t notice fatigue 🙊. The views are breathtaking and 100% worth it. No picture can do it justice. Must see!
