wonderful antigua adventure - this is one of the very few trips that allows you to sign up solo for a collective/shared tour. i was one of 3 on this occasion. our guide for the day, christian, was incredibly generous with his breadth of knowledge of antigua and guatemalan history. our journey started at 8:05am on the dot in guatemala city and made it to antigua by 9:30am. the tour took us to some beautiful colonial architectural gems: a hill overlooking antigua, stunning dilapidated churches and convents and a jaunt through the national museum of art of guatemala. christian was patient as we meandered in and out of shops. even allowing me to suggest a cute boutique coffee shop for the group. i highly recommend this tour!

Excellent visit and your local guide with great knowledge of history make your visit a great experience. - Enigmatic city, a huge culture and its traditions full of historical and modern stories. Wonderful coexistence with the local Mayan people who still care about keeping their history alive.

The guide was from a... - The guide was from a local company subcontracted by Viator. He was well organized, had useful and suggestions for meals and place to visit after the tour and gave a very complete historical and cultural presentation of Guatemala and Antigua.

Great experience in Antigua! - I had such an amazing time with Miguel and Ruben on my tour through Antigua! They were very friendly and Ruben was very knowledgeable and knew so much history behind everything we saw! I also got some great pictures! :) I would definitely 10/10 recommend this tour to anyone looking to visit Guatemala and experience some great history and get a thorough experience of Antigua!

A wonderful tour! - Manuel the tour guide was very insightful, he made trip something special. No details were spared in describing every historical site or the significance of it's importance. Manuel left me wanting more and I truelly gained a more indept understanding of the beautiful city of Antigua.

Great tour to a wonderful town - I've done numerous Trip Advisor tours and our tour guide, Manny was probably the best I've had, very informative, friendly, helpful. Antigua was a great trip an a a must see. This tour combo of driving and walking was well done and a great way to see this wonderful little city.

Excellent tour with Manny! - We were so lucky to have Manny as our tour guide for the day trip to Antigua! Manny was incredibly fun and personable, and he had a wealth of knowledge about the history of Antigua and Guatemala. We enjoyed exploring Antigua by car and then on foot to get fully immersed in the city. Manny catered the tour based on what our group wanted to see, so we ended up seeing a jade museum and having a fantastic lunch at a local restaurant that we never would have found otherwise. Huge thanks to Manny for giving us such a great day, 11/10 would recommend this tour!
