Recommended! - This was a lovely day out visiting a couple of sites and with just the right amount of time spent at each of them. Very well organized and delivered too - special thanks to the guide Danxia, who was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly through the whole day, as well as driver Ashley, who got us around safely and timely.

Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral & Dover tour is a must do. - The tour was fantastic, even though it was a typical English weather (raining). What made it great was the energy and knowledge of our guide Pablo and the driver Eddie. Pablo provided background information at each of the sites and also allowed us free time to our selfs to enjoy the sites. Would definitely recommend the tour through Golden Tous and getting Pablo and Eddie would be a bonus.

A “must do” Bucket List experience. - The emotion of visiting The Battle of Britain Memorial with the White Cliffs of Dover as a backdrop was cathartic to say the least.

Great tour! Knowledgeable and friendly guide! - We have always had great success with Viator tours, and this one was no exception! Our tour guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating! Our time at Canterbury Cathedral and in the surrounding town was the best part! Unfortunately, our day was rainy so we did not get the best sightseeing at the Dover cliffs, though.

A long but wonderful day on a gorgeous sunny day - Trish was our efficient and knowledgeable guide. Canterbury Cathedral was especially impressive. At Greenwich, wish we could see the zero deg longitude line.

Hassle free touring - The benefit of a coach tour is that it removes the stress of driving and navigating (thanks Elvio) and allows you to enjoy the scenery (a coach gets you above most of the hedgerows). Our guide on the day, Pablo, was a charmer with a passion for British history that helped put the sites into context. Canterbury Cathedral was better for knowing of Thomas Beckett and his martyrdom and Leeds Castle would have been bewildering without the background on the eccentric Lady Olive Baillie. She may have been eccentric, preferring the company of her Great Danes to the 1920s glitterati that she invited for weekends at her castle but she was a woman, who like the seven queens succeeding Catherine of Aragon, who called the building home, she was a formidable woman. TheTrust she created still runs and manages her beloved home, nearly four decades after her passing.

Lot of crowd covered. Much much much bi lingual commentary. Mmm mmm - Mmm. I wanted to go to Leeds castle. Quite difficult to get to via public transport so I decided to use this company. Easy to book but no receipt sent. However staff member found me on her list. Pick up spot easy to find. Coach was reasonably clean and comfortable However the commentary was endless and dreary. No way of blocking. It was also repeated in mandarin for the very few Chinese guests. So ab endless. Some of the content was quite inaccurate and somewhat judgemental The whole trip did cover what it said. Included entry fees if you wanted to go into the places covered. I think they should mention about the commentary. And the bi lingual aspect. It became quite dreary and drab for me. A long time from around 830 to 1830. Maybe not asking for tips too. Mostly not done here in my experience. I’m from York. But a few of the guests were from US so Ob the commentator got that! We have a fair minimum wage in UK. Hopefully Golden Tours I’m sure pay decently
