Established in the year 1886, Arsenal boasts a rich legacy that spans across its time at Woolwich, Highbury, and Emirates Stadium. Visitors to the freshly modernized museum will discover a variety of intriguing exhibits. A host of former players who share a distinctive connection with the club’s history have generously donated many of the artifacts on display.
Standout items include the pair of gloves used by goalkeeper Jens Lehmann throughout the undefeated ‘Invincibles’ season of 2003/04, the football boots of Michael Thomas from the iconic Anfield ‘89 game, and the FA Cup Final jersey of Charlie George from 1971. Complementing these exhibits are two captivating video theatres and twenty principal displays that celebrate Arsenal’s illustrious past.
