Our family adventure to LEGOLAND New York began with a delightful stay at the Kingdom Hotel. The moment we stepped into our room, we were greeted by vibrant colors and creative LEGO-themed decor that immediately set the tone for our trip. The kids were thrilled with the floating LEGO objects in the spacious pool, and I must admit, I found myself enjoying the playful atmosphere just as much as they did. The refreshment stand by the pool was a hit with the kids, offering a variety of treats that kept them energized for the fun ahead.

Dining at the hotel was a memorable experience, thanks to our wonderful waitress, Crystal. Her warm personality and attention to detail made our dinner special. She personalized our orders and even shared some insider tips for our visit to the park the next day. Breakfast was equally impressive, with delicious sausages and bacon served on small skillets that added a unique touch to our morning meal.

Exploring the Wonders of LEGOLAND

The excitement was palpable as we entered LEGOLAND New York. The park’s layout was spacious and well-organized, allowing us to explore without feeling crowded. Renting an electric wheelchair for one of the grandmothers was a breeze, ensuring everyone in our group could enjoy the day comfortably. The kids were eager to try the rides, and The Dragon quickly became their favorite, offering just the right amount of thrill for our adventurous bunch.

For my husband and me, the live show featuring skateboarders performing extreme moves was a highlight. We also enjoyed the sky ride in the gondola-like vehicles, which provided a relaxing break with stunning views of the park. Lunch was a satisfying affair with pizza and salad, and the opportunity to swap LEGO figurines added an extra layer of fun to our day.

Shopping and Souvenirs

No trip to LEGOLAND would be complete without a visit to the gift store. The selection of LEGO kits and gifts was impressive, and each of the cousins found something special to take home. Watching them excitedly assemble their kits later that evening was a joy, as they relived the day’s adventures through their creations.

One suggestion for improvement would be the addition of benches or chairs in the large gift store. After a day of exploring, a place to rest would have been appreciated by the grandparents in our group. However, the staff’s kindness in providing a chair for one of us was a testament to the excellent service we experienced throughout our visit.
