Saw it all! - Great tour with Gamal and driver Mina. We smartly started in Saqarra and were able to go into the Pyramid of Teti with no other tourists. Gamal took us to a papayrus shop before lunch, then to the Giza complex right at the Golden Hour for photos. We felt 100% safe the entire time, and both Mina and Gamal did a great job informing of the history, without going super in depth to the point of boredom.

Pyramids - It was great! Our tour guide, Gamal, and driver, Hassan, were awesome. We didn’t have a lot of time in Cairo and with this tour, we got to see a lot!

Great Day in Egypt - Our family of three did the full day tour of Memphis, Saqqara and Giza Pyramids. The trip was very seamless. We just got in the car and our driver and guide took us on our way. I would recommend requesting guide Gamal. He is very personable and knowledgeable. He took us on some shortcuts and unique viewpoints. He also wonderful pictures of us and only took us to his trusted vendors (camel ride, etc). It was crowded at the pyramids, but we never felt rushed and Gamal always knew the exact places to go for the best views. The local lunch was also tasty. Finally, our driver Hassan was great at well. Always on time and was the safest driver we had in our time in Cairo. Overall, would highly recommend this tour company and this tour.

If you want the BEST PHOTOS, TIME SAVING, EFFICIENT tour and guide, this is it! - If you want the BEST PHOTOS, TIME SAVING, EFFICIENT tour and guide, this is it! If there is one country where you want to have a tour guide, it is here in Egypt. I thought it was essential, rather then a nice to have. My guide was Wael Abdallah. I will tell you, I have been to many countries and taken tours by tens of tour guides. This guy was on a different level. He has perfected the art of tour guiding for the Giza Pyramids like no other. I wanted to go inside the Great Pyramid of Giza (a must do). I had the ticket. When I got there, one minute I was staring at a long line of people waiting to enter the pyramid, the next minute I was inside. I don't remember what the heck happened. I feel sorry for the folks who came without a guide, but Wael got me in without having to wait in the line. SAVED ME AN HOUR. He was so efficient that he knew exactly which stone to stand on and how I should pose for pictures at various spots. He knew everybody. From guards to camel operators to visitor center folks to people at the papyrus shop. Literally everybody that you would want to know. Lastly, the driver, Motaz, did a great job. At my request, he stopped at the Nile cotton store so that I can purchase some t-shirts. He also willingly drove back to the previous stop to get my sunglasses which I left behind when leaving the store.

Money ruins the experience - Rushing through with the guide, not 30 min, but hardly 8 min camel ride for gratitudes, overpriced souveniers. The view is great, the food was really good.

Hoped for a better experience - I was the only one on the tour that day. It made my guide unhappy (and it showed) as he would receive just one tip (although I did my best in that regard). He wouldn’t let me go to the souvenir shop at Giza and insisted I went to a perfume shop in which I had no interest (I bought nothing from there: the prices are inflated). The backseat of the car where I was had a safety belt that didn’t work. To end on a positive note the weather was nice.

Overall disappointing experience - Insufficient organization (vote 1 out of 5): only the day before the tour I was informed that the visit would take place in English and not in Italian, as per booking. A last-minute change that leaves no alternative and forces you to adapt, regardless of your level of knowledge of the language. The guide (3 out of 5) was correct overall, but with a constant feeling of haste: the visits seemed oriented to shorten the time as much as possible, with very basic explanations and little depth on the places and attractions. That said, beyond the quality of the tour, the visit to the pyramids of Giza remains an absolute must and is worth the trip alone, although personally I did not feel particularly enriched by the information provided during the visit.

Low Camel ethics partnership and scamming be warned - First- they partner with very unethical Camel owners fyi it was very sad. We got to see cool things but it felt like we were being rushed to the part where they go to shops they have arrangements with (i.e. if you buy stuff, the guide gets a cut). The guide was nice but didn't offer up cool photo opportunities and the ones we got weren't special. I expected more and less hustling. The tour guide also didn't help us get a good price on a scarf we wanted - we got scammed and way over paid for head scarfs while on the tour and she helped the vendor by saying it was a good price when researching after it was WAY over priced. Overall, scamming and ethics were an issue for us.

Do Not Use-FIND SOMEONE ELSE - The guide and company pulled a no-show, but took my payment!!! Had to scramble to find another tour. Very, very disappointing. Their phone number and chat went unanswered and still do. Scroll on to a different company!!!
