Lovely trip, see Gdańsk from different angle - I thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip. Got to see Gdańsk from a different angle, and learn a little about the city. The boat was comfortable and it was a smooth journey. We explored the river Motlawa and the smaller canals off the river. Some of the bridges are very low - you have to duck right down in your seat to get through, which was fun. Beavers inhabit the canal, but we didn't see any on the trip. The boat goes all the way across to the lock near the upland gate, circling granary island. There was the opportunity to ask questions, and the guide was very knowledgeable. The starting point is a bit of a walk out of the city, but they offered the option to drop us off at a small pontoon just 5 mins walk from the city on the way back, so a much shorter walk back after. Overall a great trip.

Excellent Tour! - This tour was brilliant. Really informative, entertaining and pleasant tour guide. The boat was cool and very comfortable, there were blankets and umbrellas on board for those who needed them. Life jackets were optional for those over 16. The boat has a wide, flat bottom so it's very steady. It was really cool to see the city from the river. We also went a little outside the city and in to nature for a few minutes which was really cool. Lots of swans, ducks and cormorants.

Definitely book this boat tour! - Very nice way to get a city tour of a different kind. We really enjoyed the 70 minute boat ride and learned a lot about the old town of Gdansk. The way to the Yard Café is worth it. Young boat & city guides ensure a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere on board and involve guests in the city tour. Definitely recommended. It couldn't have been better.

Great little boat trip - The start point is not too difficult to get to. I walked there with Google maps but allow enough time as it's a bit out of the way. The boat trip itself was great. We had lovely weather and the guide was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained throught the hour. Definitely would recommend.

Distance of pick up point let down a 5 star tour - I didn’t realise how far away from the main centre of Gdansk the pick up point was. It was about a half hour walk through some less desirable streets to a very unclear random little port. It all felt a little bit confusing and we lost the buzz of the city in getting there. If I had known this I would have booked a trip which started in the centre as we had a young child with us. Once we were on the boat and it had travelled around to the centre the tour was excellent. The guide was very knowledgeable and intersting to listen to. It was the right length of time and good level of facts and history. It would have easily been a 5 star review if the start point was closer to the centre of town.
