Excellent trip - We had a great trip Our guide/driver (Tinio) was full of fun local information The drive is challenging which he made look easy The trip is well worth it especially for the 1096m viewpoint

A lovely trip - A great tour. We were picked up from our hotel. We had several stops with great view points. The Valley of The Nuns was spectacular. We had lots of time at each stop and our guide was very knowledgeable and so kind and friendly. At our last stop it was lovely to sit with a glass of wine and just relax and enjoy the view as it was my husbands birthday.

A good experience - My query regarding transport prior to booking was answered very quickly, we booked the Nuns Valley Tour and the Go West Tour and was very happy with both. Vehicle was comfortable and spotlessly clean and the driver/s were very knowledgeable about each stop and area, happy to answer any question. Would certainly use Madeira Happy Tours again should we revisit Madeira

A lovely afternoon - We had a really lovely afternoon with Nico. The trip took us to 4 lovely places, much easier than driving ourselves. It was a small group & everywhere was quite quiet. Nico told us lots of interesting facts about Madeira & is very funny.

A happy Happy Tours tourist - This was our fourth tour with Happy tours and I have enjoyed every one. The guides are always very nice and pleasant. This had four stops the highlight being Eira do Serrano, stunning views of the mountains and into nuns valley. A very good lookout point by the car parks and better up the path to the platform. The cafe gift shop is a bad tourist trap there. The village is quite small, just a few cafes and shops. Not great quality wise just standard tourist fare. The best thing is the views looking back up at the mountains and the small local church. The last stop was the fishing village Camara de Lobos which was buzzing with activity around the sea front bars and in the little streets. Very quaint.

Not a favourite tour. - The view from the first view point was amazing as were some of the other views. The village stop offs not so interesting! In particular the stop off in the Village at the base of Nuns Valley was really not at all interesting. There was nothing to do there and nothing of real interest to look at. Certainly not one of the best tours we did so disappointing.

OK for the money - Not a bad trip for the price but watch out for the Madeiran weather - if it’s a cloudy/misty day then the views of Nuns Valley may not happen

Trip is okay for price. Nice spots of mountainside - Overall for the price it wasn’t bad ! the views from the mountain areas were amazing at both spots. the actual nuns valley village stop was nice with little local shop and restaurant. The last stop was not great, nothing to do or really see! I will say the tour folks were amazing in responding with questions.

Unhappy unprofessional tour guide - What could have been an excellent excursion was marred by the driver / tour guide who was ill mannered and bad tempered. He insulted one of our fellow passengers as soon as the tour began and when she left the tour at the end of the trip continued to make negative remarks about the person . He didn’t introduce himself, we could barely understand his input as he had such a poor level of English. He was not local and I feel we were very unlucky to have met him. Unfortunately I will not be able to recommend this company to other visitors.

Unhappy Tour - It was a very “ unhappy Tour “ from get go , we waited at appointed place and were 15 mins early he was 15 mins late , very rude no greeting snapped at us first thing . No clue of how to speak English or Portuguese as it happened , thick indecipherable German accent
