Fantistic day tour - go West - We had a great day on the West tour. Luis our driver/guide was very knowledgable and helpful - my wife was using a wheelchair and he was always there to help, carrying the wheelchair down steps when needed. The booking process online was easy and the company responded quickly to e-mails. Thanks for a great day. We can definitely recommend both the company and the west tour.

Exceptional experience - My sister and I booked two tours with Madeira Happy Tours The booking process was easy, and their website very intuitive. Laura sent us more information by e-mail. We went on the West day tour and half-day tour in Nun's Valley. For both tours our guide was Hugo. A special thanks goes to him. Hugo was outstanding, a nice person, educated, intelligent, prepared , he showed us Madeira as we could never have seen it on our own. We are very grateful to him for sharing Madeira's history, traditions and culture with us. We recommend Madeira Happy Tours to everyone because everything was perfect and well organised.  Of course, we look forward to visiting Madeira again with them.

Enjoyable tour - I followed Horace Greeley's advice to "Go West" and took this tour. Our first stop was Cabo Girão, the highest cliffs in Europe. They have a glass observatory so you can look down 580 m./1903 ft. We saw many lizards throughout the day and stopped at several viewpoints. It was a lovely tour.

Happy Tours, Happy Tourist - First time out of Funchal and it couldn't have gone any better. The bus was comfortable and we had a happy group. Luis was a fantastic guide and very informative. The fact he had German and English tourists didn't phase him. It was more than just look at that but gave a real understanding of the west of the island, a real feat, from it's industries through to excellent recommendations at the different stops. Thank you

West Tour - excellent way of seeing the island - Excellent way to see different parts of the island with a long stop at Porto Moniz for the volcanic pools. Hugo was an excellent driver guide imparting lots of knowledge about the island, its history and flora. He was interesting and informative. We took a picnic lunch to allow enough time at the pools for a good swim. There was enough time at each of the other stops too. The mini bus was also a good size. In all an excellent day and good way to see the island.
