A thoroughly interesting desert tour through tribal lands - This was a great tour. The only challenge was finding the pickup place which is by the lobby of the casino which is not signed as it is on tribal lands. Once there, the tour was fantastic for 3 reasons:
1. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge both about the flora and fauna themselves and the history of the Yavapai nation.
2. The variety if scenery in the desert, from various cacti to mesquite trees to ceosote bushes
3. The guides ability to search out and find interesting spots and vistas to see.
There was plenty of opportunity to take pictures.
All in all, a very enjoyable and worthwhile tour which I would recommend to anyone who wants to see the desert up close.

Great fun for our family! - Cowboy Wayne sure gave us a top notch tour. Personable, pleasant, great humor, and exceptional knowledge of the history, and plant and animal life of the area. Very immersive and we all learned a lot. Breathtaking access to the quiet serenity of the Yavapai people. One of the highlights of our visit to the Phoenix area.

Smokey was awesome! - When I booked this tour, I really didn’t know what to expect, however it was an amazing experience! Smokey made the tour even better with all of his knowledge of the land and native people, his storytelling, and sense of humor. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be back.
