Utracks - A Great way to see Italy - We did the Venice to Florence self guided bike trip. We had the regular bikes and they worked well and we did not have problems with them. We both cycle quite regularly at home. The app also functioned well and the luggage transfer was seamless, with the luggage always being at the hotel prior to our arrival. The host met us on the first day, at the first hotel and gave us a little overview and then we were off, on our way. Getting out of Venice was easy with the app. The last ferry had a few sailings to wait for as was very small, so take that into account. The cycling was through small towns after that and it was lovely. Quite flat and the distances were long (around 50-70km/day) which was fine as the bikes were comfortable. We really lucked out with the weather (I wouldn't have enjoyed it if super hot or if raining a lot). The little hotels they picked for us were really nice and no complaints with any of them. Breakfast was included at the breakfasts were excellent. For the maps/app, I would recommend bringing along an accessory charging source as it is long days and it does run down your battery a bit. The bike ride the last day was in to Florence and there is a significant climb (which is doable but one very steep part) and the ride into Florence is downhill. Once in Florence, we did turn on our data on and used Apple Maps, as the app had some inconsistencies due to the fact there was a lot of construction with the bike lanes being closed and then the hotel was hard to find. Then at the hotel, they didn't seem to know what to do with our bikes --- that was the only time we had to contact our guide and he did sort it out with the hotel. Florence itself was amazing and worth the effort to get there. I really liked the 'self-guided' part, as there was definitely a fair bit of 'thinking' at times and I was happy to have my husband with me as I wouldn't have wanted to do this alone. Although I was tired after the 6 days of cycling (it is rated as moderate, and it is definitely moderate) you feel like you have definitely accomplished something. I would recommend doing this trip and would use this company again.

Fantastic Venice Trip - Constantino and the driver were interesting and humorous and knowledgeable. He kept us together and organized. It was a long day, but we had such a great time! Loved the gondola ride the best!

Venice Day Trip from Florence - Amazing experience, fantastic guide who had great information and helped us to get the most out of our day. Bus driver was great and had us at each destination in good time. Glass blowing was great and gondola ride was a highlight, and definitely a bucket list ticked! Would highly recommend, although a long day, well with it!

Venice is worth every moment - It was a beautiful city island with so much to see and do. Our guide and bus driver were great. The only criticism I have is that everything was on a strict time limit. My wife and I are both disabled and walking at a quickened pace for long distances is just not an option. So when they would stop at a spot and Michael would be explaining something, by the time we caught up we had no idea what was said, and had little time to take pictures of our experience. I guess I just wish the times to be at a certain place were a little more flexible and not designed as a workout routine. Over all, great time, and the time limit racing challenge seems to be every tour we have participated in by all tour groups.

Strolling between canals - Travel to Venice with Constantine as guide and Cosimo as driver. A fantastic trip, with good explanations and very good deal with each of us. Everything very well organized: transport, gondola ride, food, free time. Recommended

Good for Provided Organized Travel - I think the most valuable part of this tour is the transportation that is organized and provided. A couple of things I noted: 1. There seemed to be a good amount of pressure to book a gondola and restaurant through the tour. I declined both. They were charging 120 Euro for a 25-minute ride. We were easily able to find a 90 Euro, 30-minute ride. I think they use their position as a "trusted" tour to instill enough concern of being scammed to get you to pay through them, which clearly includes a significant kickback. So in the end, the tour company was the scammer. 2. The glassblowing museum was interesting, but it culminated in a thorough, high-pressure sales experience. 3. Our host Constantino was fine. He shared a couple pieces of information. He really didn't blow us away and he wasn't a very passionate guide. This seemed like just a job for him.

Disappointed to say the least - Very disappointed with the overall logistical planning of the trip the bus ride was too long and they don’t allow food, snacks or drink, which was very disappointing. Very little planning or logistical overview of the city and or planning ahead for cathedrals should’ve been noted on the planning ahead of time so we can be aware of how to plan our time wisely.
