Having a guide provides more access - Roberto was helpful to organize the group. It was extremely crowded and they were adding on people as we were waiting for our tour time. Isabella was an excellent guide even in the crowds. The ear piece was helpful to hear amongst all the people. We still stood in line for about 15 minutes because it was so crowded, but she did a great job taking us to the front of the pieces she selected to highlight. There are so many paintings and sculptures to see, it's best to stay after and view the rest of the art on your own time.

Highlights of top floor and most important art. - The guide gave us a history of the Medici's and led us to the most important works of art. She showed us some details about a Michelangelo painting that you would not get on your own. There are plenty of places to sit if you get tired of standing. The tour was of the top floor only, so if you are the type of person who wants to see everything plan on staying longer or book a "Skip the kind entry" and go on your own. The lines were very long so we are glad we booked this tour.

Amazing stories about renaissance - Our guide told us fascinating stories about the Renaissance and Renaissance artists. She showed us beautiful examples of the flourishing of Renaissance painting during the Medici era.

Splendid Tour through the Uffizi in Florence - Although our tourguide fell ill the evening before our booked tour, we were informed in time and received another Guide for a slot only 45 min later. Rosella realised a splendid tour in German for us in the Uffizi and we enjoyed it very much. With the ticket of a Small Group we were able to skip the long queue at the entrance for Security and make the most of our stay at the Uffizi.

Best way to see and experience Uffizi - We had a tour of Uffizi Gallery with Olga that was knowledgeable and made sure we really enjoyed the tour. The kids were very impressed with all the infos that we received during our tour. It’s definitely the best way to see and experience Uffizi.

Art, Interrupted. - I joined a guided tour of the Uffizi but ended up exploring on my own about 40 minutes in. The group spent a lot of time on just a few pieces, and while I appreciate in-depth discussion, the pace felt too slow for such a large collection. The guide was frequently interrupted by questions—many unrelated to the artwork—which made it hard to stay focused. I decided to use a map and see the highlights independently, which allowed me to take in much more of the museum. I’m not sure how much the group ultimately saw, but at that pace, it would have been difficult to cover much. I think an effective tour balances key pieces, meaningful insights, and thoughtful engagement without getting too sidetracked.

Guided …. - I think we would have enjoyed this much more by ourselves . The guide we had seemed distracted .kept turning back into the crowd Torre-day things . Was not concerned with navigating our group . He took personal phone calls . Didn’t remember which tour he was on at times . What you need know , head to the 2nd floor or upper story first , well known items are on that floor .
