Highlights

Firgas - The day begins with pick-ups at the different meeting points and a trip to Firgas, where we will stop to walk around and discover the first details about the local culture. In addition, we will enjoy a wonderful aerial view of the Barranco de Azuaje and Barranco de La Virgen, which will help us glimpse the magnitude and importance of the ancient Doramas’ Forest.
Barranco de Azuaje - After a short car ride, we arrive at the bed of the ravine, where we will take a pleasant stroll through a spectacular natural setting. Here you can see the ruins of an ancient spa, located in one of the most incredible places in Gran Canaria. Our tour takes place in the Laurisilva Forest, where we walk around the watercourse and make stops so that you can swim and jump into natural pools.
Barranco de Azuaje - After we awaken the five senses, we will tour a working farm where we can learn about the importance of water and see how a crop is organized using traditional methods.
We will then enjoy a delicious tasting of fresh fruit and other local products under the shade of trees in a unique setting.
Playa El Puertillo - To complete the day, we will take you to a fishing village, where you can enjoy refreshing swimming in natural pools. After the visit, we will take you back to the point where you were picked up.

This venture is crafted to suit adventurers of all varieties, offering access to distinctive locales, a brief trek, and even the chance to bathe in natural bodies of water including pools and cascades. A culinary delight amidst the fruit trees, boasting local fare and fresh produce, is also part of the package. Concerned about your hiking skills? Fear not! We tailor the tour to suit our client’s proficiencies. However, gear up for excitement as this immersive natural escapade promises to be like none other. During the tour, we’ll navigate the lush Doramas Forest — a haven for one of the last Laurisilva enclaves in Europe — pay a visit to a unique eco-farm for tasting local produce, before rounding off with a coastal stop for a swim in a secluded bay. You need to bring: sports clothes, hiking shoes or closed sports shoes (recommended water-resistant, because it is possible that you get your feet wet), a backpack is essential (avoid bringing disposable and plastic bags), a swimsuit, a towel, a spare of dry clothes, a light coat/raincoat, sun cream, something light to eat (sandwich, fruit, or snack bar), 1,5 l. water bottle.
This is a group activity for a maximum of 20 people. You will share your time with other clients.
The minimum age suggested for this tour is 5 years. Their parents or legal tutors must accompany children under 18.
Full-day tour: 8 to 10,5 hours, including 6 hours for the main activity and 2 to 4,5 hours for round-trip transportation, depending on the pickup location.

A Nice Way to See a Different Side of Gran Canaria. - Angelica was a wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was funny and an absolute gem of a tour guide. Our walk around Firgas was informative and very interesting to find out about the history of Gran Canaria. The rainforest walk was at parts a little challenging, but it was worth the experience to be alone in nature and bask in the surroundings. Again, Angelica filled us in with facts about the local fauna and wildlife, and the stop at the farm to try the locally produced fruits was delightful. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is travelling to Gran Canaria on holiday!
