And fun was had by all!! - Had a great time. Ruthie did a refresher course with me and I was very relaxed and confident after a 4-5 year dry spell! Beautiful reefs in the 65’ areas off if Fajardo PR. Will go again!!!!!!

Excellent SCUBA Charter, Tailored to Your Skill Level - Stephen & Nanci, Monday 11 Dec; Simpatico Charters for private guided dives with Ruthie (divemaster) and Scotty (boat captain). Very windy and heavy seas. Ruthie had called us the day before and invited us to come early if we wanted to, so we got there around 1pm. Spent ½ hour getting to know each other and discussing our skill level, and current and wind issues that may affect our dives. Ruthie said we would go out toward the outlying islands and see if we could make the dives happen. If not, we would return and they would refund our money. Once we got to the lee of one of the islands, the seas were diminished and Ruthie determined we could safely dive. She reviewed safety rules and hand signals with us and we geared up (dive gear was included). Water temp 84° so no wet suits required. No current to speak of at depth of about 20-22 ft. Good 40 min fam dive to practice skills and for Ruthie to assess our abilities. Back on the boat, Scotty had chicken kabobs & corn-on-the-cob from the grill, with pasta salad, plantains & fresh apple wedges. After lunch, Ruthie decided we were quite capable of diving the reef farther out, so we moved the boat out to the reef and did our second dive. The tour was scheduled for 2-4pm, but turned out to be 1-6pm. Ruthie was a great divemaster. She never rushed us and was very considerate to make sure we got what we wanted out of our SCUBA adventure. Looking forward to going again Thursday.

Awesome Day from start to finish. - Do not hesitate to book this tour. This tour is like diving with your own family. From the moment we arrived until our departure we felt right at home and Ruthie and Scotty made the day very memorable for all of us. This was my kiddos' first dive after being certified (thanks to covid) and it could not have been a more perfect setting to get them reacquainted with the whole process. Ruthie was very reassuring with them and extremely helpful with hints and tricks of the trade that helped all of us. The boat was comfortable and we were out to the reefs in no time. Ruthie knows the reef well and took great pictures and videos throughout the day and sent us an awesome video as a memento. Lunch was simple and perfect since we were ready to get back in the water as quickly as possible. The communication before our adventure was very helpful and we discussed possible weather issues and options. Ruthie even sent a helpful contact for a taxi service the day before so I could arrange getting to and from their location in advance. After diving we even had a little friendly splash contest to see who had the best dive form off the boat. The whole day was so much fun!!!! We would dive with them again in a minute.

Top Notch Dive Operation - Ruthie and Captain Scotty run an amazing dive operation! This is the most personalized diving experience I have ever had. From the moment of initial contact through our return to the dock at the end of our two days they were top notch. The boat is comfortable and never overcrowded. Captain Scotty knows his way around the ocean and Ruthie does an excellent job choosing dive sites that offer both amazing topography and fish life. We had mentioned that our cameras weren't working on one day of diving and we would love to return to one specific dive site to try and capture some photos because the fish life was amazing and they made it happen (the weather cooperated which was the go/no go call but I think Ruthie called in a favor to Mother Nature ;) ) The lunch provided during the surface interval was also top notch like everything else. Overall, had it not been for Ruthie and Captain Scotty I don't think we would have enjoyed the diving as much as we did. I cannot recommend Simpatico Charters enough and will not dive anywhere else when visiting Fajardo.

Our best dive experience ever - hands down - Our experience diving with Ruth and Captain Scotty was truly amazing. The boat was comfortable, the food was tasty, and the dives were beautiful. Our daughter had some issues with her ears, and Ruthie was so patient with her. Hands down the best dive experience our family has ever had.

Excellent Service & Great Diving! - We had a great time with Ruthie & Scott. Our family of 5 went scuba diving (2 dives). These guys are excellent hosts, knowledgeable about the dive sites, and willing to put up with our nutty family with a smile. And…best hummus I’ve ever had!

Awesome people to go diving with and to be around - Ruthie and Scott provided an awesome experience! Let me start by saying they are some of the most pleasant, courteous, and up-beat people I have met. They are just plain fun to be around and you want to just hang out with them all day! We originally booked a private dive for just the two of us as we were attending a destination wedding but were able to add some more people from the wedding group that were interested. We also went out with them again the next day with a couple other divers they know (who were also super nice and fun to be around). We would have gone a third day but the winds and weather were not in our favor . . . next time! Ruthie and Scott definitely know their dive spots and my wife was finally able to see a sea turtle! We were able to hit a few locations as we were able to go for two days. Ruthie has a passion for diving and marine life and it shows. She's a great underwater guide and we would have missed a lot of stuff if she hadn't pointed it out to us. Safety, of course, is primary and she made sure to check on everyone to make sure we were all doing well. Scott runs the boat and support and runs a clean and tight ship. Group safety comes first so there isn't any loose equipment around and everything is properly stowed. He's there to help everyone in and out of the water and to make things easy and comfortable for the divers. The ladder is very diver friendly and makes it easy to get back on the boat. They even took care of our equipment after the first day and had everything setup for us for the next day of diving. Plenty of food and beverages too! Great for hydrating and relaxing during those surface intervals. We can't wait for our next trip and to see them again!

Best Scuba and Snorkeling experience in Puerto Rico - I have had the enormous pleasure of going out w Simpatico Charters twice. my first outing w Capt. Scotty and First Mate /Certified Dive Instructor Ruthie was for a 2 tank dive at the gorgeous reefs off of Fajardo. I can say it was 100% one of the best dive experiences I have had in my 3 yrs of being a diver. Ruthie was extremely attentive and paired up w me since I had been out of the water for a while. The in depth knowledge that they both share is way above 5 stars...the food provided was fantastic and well thought out. My 2nd outing w them was w a group of friends snorkeling. I learned so much about all the reef critters and how to spot them. the food again was superior. I felt so at ease w them that I am now going to do my AOW and Rescue Diver courses w/ Instructor Ruthie. This charter is very tuned in to everyone's safety and enjoyment...Class Act!

Saved my trip - I had some diving excursions planned with another company in Fajardo, and the day before I arrived to PR they cancelled my trip due to mechanical issues. When I got to Fajardo the following day I scrambled around the marina to try to find an alternative and was lucky enough to be given Ruthie and Capt Scottie’s info. I called and spoke to Ruthie, explaining my situation. She was nice enough to let me join her and her friends on an outing the following day. Hospitable doesn’t begin to describe how warmly I was received and treated. Ruthie took her time to make sure I felt comfortable in the water as it had been a couple of years since I have been diving, her friends were super chill, and Scottie provided a great energy and potato salad that I unfortunately couldn’t finish because I was feeling a bit sea sick. Overall, they saved my trip as the main thing I wanted to do was go diving and only had 2 days in which to make that happen. I highly recommend them for anybody visiting Fajardo. Oh…and the five spots were fantastic as well haha.
