Villa Marina Yacht Harbour - We will go to one of the amazing reefs within a 30-45 minute boat ride. We always wait to decide specifically where until we can assess weather, boat traffic etc. But we promise we will find the very best location for your family and friends.
We suggest arriving 15 minutes before departure and get fitted for fins. Your Captain will give a welcome safety speech & we will take off for a four hour water adventure full of magic & laughter.
You will enjoy a fully guided snorkel tour and instruction from a licensed professional swim instructor and Divemaster. Depending on conditions and level of experience and comfort we will go to either one or two reefs. We will serve you an amazing lunch or dinner, depending on your individual dietary needs and potential restrictions.

- Homemade hummus with pita & corn chips - We are always amazing our guests with creative recipes.
- Chicken Pinchos - These BBQ chicken skewers are often served with homemade potato salad or pasta salad with an outrageous mango or papaya salad.
- Cheeseburgers in Paradise - 100% Angus 1/3 pound patties served with melted cheese, sweet plantains, corn on the cob. A delicious meal.
- Caribbean grilled chicken - We often serve a sweet & spicy marinated grilled chicken with a pineapple or mango pico de gallo w/ sweet plantains, corn & tasty pasta salad.
Additional Information
Ruthie and Captain Michael Scott are accomplished hosts, both on land and at sea. With 30 years of experience, Captain Scott has spent 19 years in sport fishing and a decade operating a commercial scuba diving and snorkeling charter. Ruthie is skilled as a DiveMaster and swim teacher, with 15 years in the hospitality field and a decade managing her own eatery in Florida. Their inaugural vessel, the Dragon Fruit, is a 32-foot dedicated sport fishing yacht ideal for snorkeling, scuba excursions, and on-board dining.
They are committed to exceptional customer care and communication, from the initial booking to the trip’s conclusion. They provide high-quality rental equipment and offer assistance with gear maintenance and functionality checks.

Amazing Small Business Focused On Teaching And Respecting Our Reefs - This was one of the highlights of our trip to the island. Ruthie and Scotty were so friendly and knowledgeable. They have so much care and respect for the flora and fauna of Puerto Rico and working with people who have such strong values was wonderful. Our 12 year old daughter had some hesitations about snorkeling (only having done it once before) and Ruthie was so gentle and clear that she loved it! She did an incredible job teaching us about snorkeling and about everything we saw underwater.
Not to mention the food, it was spectacular! We could not recommend them enough.

Ocean lovers! - 100 characters is not enough to describe this memorable experience! My boys were first timers and Ruthie was fantastic with them! We so saw many incredible things. Scottie was a great cook, captain and overall interesting person. Highly recommend! We are even considering going back to certify the boys with Ruthie in scuba diving! We all fell in love with the ocean!

Highly recommended private snorkeling outing - My family of 4 including 2 teens greatly enjoyed our afternoon with Captain Scott and Ruthie. For a 4 hour snorkeling tour, you will spend 20-30 minutes cruising to the snorkeling location, about 2.5 hours in the water, dine on Scott’s yummy prepared meal, then cruise back to the marina. Ruthie will go over snorkeling instructions in the boat. She will also spend a few minutes with each participant in the water making sure you’re comfortable with your gear before your group starts exploring the reef. On our trip we saw many colorful fish, a large sea turtle, and even a nurse shark! We highly recommend this outing!

Super time with Simpatico!! - We booked for a private snorkeling tour for our family. There was five of us, and it was absolutely great. Everything was clean and efficient. The boat was super roomy for our family of five. Ruthie did an amazing job of leading our snorkel group pointing out turtles, lobsters, and other sea life Scotty was great on board, and the food was amazing. We snorkeled a few other spots around Puerto Rico, but they weren’t as good as this boat snorkeling excursion, they took us right to the reef where the fish were.. the boat could handle several more people ..definitely recommend this rather than the larger boats with larger crowds

Great time on the water with friends - Ruthie and Scotty were amazing. It was such a personal feel. They knew the area and reef so well. We felt right at home, even the home cooked meal was perfect!

Set sail with the Dragon Fruit for a counter culture cruise. - We love to snorkel and have a good time on the water. If the other charters in Fajardo are a little to boojie for your group of 6 or less, give this crew a go! Good gear, boat with plenty of shade, solid ladder for big people, nice grilled lunch made for a five star February day. If you looking for more Gilligan's Island than thumping reggae-ton. This colorful boat and grew are it. Can't miss the Dragon Fruit in the marina.

Perfect Snorkeling Adventure! - This was the perfect snorkel adventure for our group of 5. Ruthie and Scott were great guides, and the Dragonfruit is a great boat. Ruthie explained everything very clearly and patiently, so that even our first time snorkeler felt comfortable. She helped make sure all the gear fit right, and was with us for the whole snorkel while Scott cooked a yummy dinner for us on the boat. I highly recommend this snorkeling adventure!

Great snorkeling trip in Puerto Rico! - We so enjoyed our outing with Captain Scotty and Ruthie. They were a great host and hostess. Ruthie was a wonderful guide as she led us around the reef pointing out various fish as we snorkeled. Scotty fixed a great meal and we enjoyed drying out on deck and eating after we finished snorkeling. We would go again with them!

Excellent adventure and wonderful hosts - What a treat this was and most certainly the highlight of our trip! Ruthie was patient and such a wonderful teacher. She snorkeled with us and made sure to point out all of the sea wonders. Scottie was so fun and an excellent cook! Both of them took great care of our kids as well and of a mom who got a bit seasick! Highly recommend.

Simpatico Charters is... - Simpatico Charters is probably the best snorkeling tour company you can find in Puerto Rico. Ruthie & Scottie were great tour guides. They were very friendly and accommodating.
